We stayed in the apartments for 4 nights with another two families. Apartments are large and spacious with everything you need in terms of cooking facilities, extra beds, games, books and even beach towels. Will definitely be coming back.

Recently stayed here for 5 nights. We had apartment number 2 which was lovely and well appointed. Apartments are very nicely decorated and the gardens are beautifully kept. Only negative were the couches were low and not all that comfortable but the rest was perfect. Nice stroll to everything. Would def stay there again.

Beautifully renovated 1949 solid building ideally located across the park and waterfront. Spacious unit with a large outdoor dining area. Tastefully decorated and well appointed.
HOWEVER.....
The upper and lower levels are only separated by timber floors, so when people walk around upstairs it sounds like they are moving furniture.
Pets are allowed outside, which is great except for when they bark.
The cleaning standard in the unit is "only just"
We were in unit 3 and the owners had decided to lock the pantry ["for owners' use only"] which, for a family unit, seemed a tad rude.
The lack of dining table inside sent the message that the owners would prefer eating be done outside.
The little things were done well but the big things etc.

Room Tip: Upstairs is probably quieter

Booked the top floor unit several months ahead for our first stay in Brunswick Heads - and what a find; not only a laid-back resort town (so different to high-season, crazy-busy Byron or Noosa) but a first-class apartment with everything you could need for an enjoyable holiday, including a great view. And all this a few steps away from the beautiful river, a short walk to shops and cafes, the breakwater, and miles and miles of glorious beach. A paradise for anglers, kayakers, surfers. Thanks to Julia for a wonderful stay. We were so taken, we resolved to return - after all, it was New Year's Day at the end of our stay!

Room Tip: Can't comment on the other apartments (though the veranda areas looked great). The top floor was lovely.

My (new) husband and I got married on Torakina Beach last week, and stayed for a week in this unit - we absolutely loved it! Owners were friendly and helpful from beginning to end (even offering to post something I left behind - above and beyond!) most of all though, this is just a lovely spot! Perfect location - easy walk to everything we love about bruns- all the facilities - the bathtub!!! (Treat yourself and take some lush bath bombs!) full size fridge (we had lots of wedding cake to store til we could give to friends and family, plus lots of wine!), fantastic comfy King bed, tv, books (I added a few- great op shops in bruns if you need more!) - we would very happily stay again and recommend to others!!! We will be back - thanks for everything Mark! You are a great host :)
