We went to Bowral for a quick getaway for a long weekend with my family and booked 3 rooms for our stay. Its definitely worth the upgrade to the golf course view! That floor to ceiling view is AMAZING and waking up to that was just such a serene experience.
Half of the family decided to play a game of golf and it was a lot of fun sitting in the room with the kids waiting for them to see everyone play.
The food at breakfast was good but the highlight for me was the service! I wish i had gotten his name.. it was a young gentleman that helped us with the 2 highchairs we needed and a large enough table to accommodate all of us (who were coming at different times) and i just remember him being so helpful with all the little things we needed. In general the service at the hotel (front desk/ bar/ breakfast) was top quality.
We had such a memorable time at this hotel.. and we will be back very soon

Room Tip: Any room with golf course view

Beautiful hotel for a luxury getaway - accommodation is spacious and elegant; the staff are exceptional and accommodating; the dining is spectacular - especially the dinner menu; the bar is cosy and friendly and the bar staff do a great Margarita! The day spa offers a great selection of treatments - I have had a beautiful facial there and will try a massage next visit.

Stayed at the Gibraltar Hotel recently and we were very impressed. Not your average hotel at all ..Rooms were spacious and very comfortable, like the whole place, plenty of room ( btw loved the bed!) Slept soo well.
Dining was exceptional plenty of choice for any palate, loved Harvey’s bar - great relaxing spot, we all loved it. Everywhere looked great and felt very comfortable.
Had a massage package- it was five star, totally relaxing and all the Staff - everywhere were all great. Only good things to say about this place. It’s now going to be a regular. Highly recommended.

Hubby and I spent one night here for our wedding anniversary. We stayed in room 216 which had a balcony and view overlooking the golf course. The room was a great size. Great size bathroom with massive spa bath. The bed was super comfy. Parking was close by so it easy carrying bags up to our room. We dined at Harvey’s Bar for lunch. We had the antipasto bar which was impressive and delicious but also very pricey. I think $58. We enjoyed a few martinis by the fireplace as it was a miserable day outside. We also enjoyed a delicious 2 course meal at San Fior which was apart of our package. This is the fancy fine dining option in the hotel. Amazing food. Delicious cocktails. Great service. Very expensive. We enjoyed use of the indoor pool which was nice but I would have preferred if it was heated more. We very much enjoyed our stay and would both enjoy to visit again. The reception staff were very lovely, welcoming and friendly, especially Eduardo.
