The whole Fishermens Wharf development is delightful.

Evening dinner one night at Il Passagio - the Italian restuarant on the upper level. Excellent menu with lots of fresh options, and very helpful staff. Desserts in particular were a treat. Would strongly recommend making a booking - we didn't but got lucky because we were early evening, but safe to say demand outstrips supply in terms of the number of tables.

But beware the fish and chip shop - we had to wait 45 minutes from ordering at lunchtime. To their credit, it's because everything is cooked to order, so was very fresh and tasted very good. No problem with quantities either - plenty of chips to go round!

This is the best thing to happen to Bermagui in a long time. There are some fantastic places to eat there overlooking the Wharf from fantastic fresh fish and chips off the boats or if your looking for more of a dining experience head upstairs to the cheese and wine bar or the italian restaurant - it's the best restaurant in the region by far!

Cooked to perfection at the local takeaway then taken down to the harbour .. a wonderful way to spend an hour or two at Bermagui. Walking around the harbour is also a delight.
