Wandered around the beautiful town of Bangalow & headed to Butcher Baker for an early meal & cold ale before heading back to our guesthouse accommodation.
The happy hour tapas menu was loaded with choice & priced well.
So pleased with our lamb ribs, fish pieces in lettuce rolls & the cold on tap Stone & Wood pale ale.
The staff were friendly & happy. We’d love to eat there again sometime soon!
Housed in an obviously very old building, this is well worth a marvel as well.

Breakfast was great with the bacon and chorizo being very tasty. Good coffee and set in a beautiful building on the main street with easy parking out the front.

Amazing food just demolished at Butcher Baker and washed down with a cold pale ale on tap.
Lamb ribs were sticky and sweet, crispy chicken wings with chilli side sauce and sour cream superb, pastrami sandwich with fresh baked bread and a generous portion of meat and warm melted cheese. The dish of the day was the pork belly and slaw roll, this was a lunch worth traveling for!
My little kiddies were well entertained on little stools along side the corner of the restaurant drawing pictures to stick to the wall while the adults enjoyed our delicious lunch.
Faaaar out I will be back!

Fantastic! Thanks Andrew for the review. Sounds like you worked your way through the menu in fine form. The pork belly bah mi has recently been added to the menu and is proving to be super popular

We look forward to your next visit

We had a lovely drive to Ballina which included lunch at the RSL and on the drive home to took a detour through Bangalow and decided we would stop for coffee. We ordered a half strength cappuccino for me and a pot of tea for my man and a slice of carrot cake to share. The cake was lovely and moist and my coffee was nice & hot. Bangalow is a lovely quiet town and if down Ballina way, is worth the stop.
