Pet Friendly park. Upon arrival office staff very helpful, and easy to talk to. Our van site was near the lake with fantastic views. Amenities block very clean. Van sites well spaced.
Highly recommended.

We paid for a superior cabin not sure what is superior about it , we had two towels for 4 people, the place was shabby , cracked tiles , broken blinds bathroom cabinet had seen better days and the bathroom was very green , the kitchen facilities were lacking the cutlery was dirty . The permanent resident cabins are not on the map , which makes it hard to navigate to the cabins in the dark . I would not recommend this for a long term stay have stayed at other discovery parks and this was a big disappointment

We booked 1 Night an ensuite covered site and everything was just perfect.
The place is very clean and the check in and check out were organized and fast.
5 stars.
We would definitely come back again.

We had a large group booking and checked in at different times. One of the cabins was ready, but ours wasn’t and they said we could wait inside while it was finished being cleaned. We waited for 2 hours and when we called we were told it was still being cleaned. I asked what number cabin we had been given just so I could start getting our gear out of the car. She named the cabin which was right next door to where we were sitting, and no one had been inside that cabin cleaning it for the entire 2 hours that we had been waiting! She even put me on hold to ‘call the cleaner’ to confirm how much longer it would be. We had been sitting in the grass area next to that cabin the entire time! So it was clearly a blatant lie. She knew we had travelled for 10 hours with 2 young kids so it wasn’t a nice thing to do.

I went and collected the keys and was surprised to find that our cabin had a double bed in the main area and then a set of bunks in a separate area with no doors to either sleeping spaces. Not exactly the ‘2 bedrooms’ I had been led to believe that I was booking. Quite ridiculous considering anyone booking a space with bunk beds would probably have children and they may need some type of sound/light barrier. It meant we all had to go to bed at the same time as no one could be in the main living area without waking up the people in the bunk bed section. Perhaps management should consider adding some sort of fold out door, or even a rod with a block out blind between that doorway.

The differing standards across the park of what each room looks like makes it extremely hard to know what you’re booking. Another group with us booked through the exact same website, at the same time but chose a cabin that was $100 less. But on check in they were given a room exactly like ours- so what exactly did we pay $100 extra for? Hardly fair- and the people at reception could not have cared less when I asked about why the prices were so different.

Quality and maintenance of the park has gone downhill in the last few years. Looks lovely in photos but reality is that it is quite dirty and the water play park is extremely slippery and dangerous.

We have been here before and is the reason we came back. Reception is brilliant as are all the park amenities. Van sites are flat and level but some of the water taps need attention as they leak a lot of water from the spindle of the tap not the hose connection. Toilets and showers are perfectly clean and with the shower curtain separating the shower from the change area in the cubicle keeps the floor almost bone dry and easier for when dressing.

Here we go again with the hotel crap. We stayed in a caravan park not a hotel so the following questions do not apply.

When will Tripadvisor wake up about this ongoing issue?

Room tip: To find a good hotel room go to a hotel and not a caravan park, however if you want a cabin these are clean and available.
