One of our favourite places on the Central Coast. You can get your choc top and a glass of wine then sit in the amazing old style plush seats.

I've seen many movies here and the best thing is it not being modern. The seats are old but have weathered the years well. Short release movies seem to be more predominant. Not saying that main releases aren't available. Most are. But it's good to catch movies that you won't see at the majors.

What a great little cinema this is. Old worldly, quirky and with a style all of it's own. We went to see a recently released film and sat there with a glass of wine, a very enjoyable experience.

We also happened to be in Avoca Beach on Melbourne Cup day (the race that stops the nation) when the proprietors put on a event that included champagne, a roast dinner, a film (Roman Holliday) a screening of the actual race, desert and coffee (in that order). the audience were all dressed up (suits, long dresses, fascinators etc.) and all had a great time. Apparently they do all sorts of theme nights.

In the foyer they also sell a variety of things that you 'didn't know you needed until you see them'. They also have an out side area for sitting and having a coffee (or more wine).

It is a wonderful place to spend a few hours

Such a stunning old structure that gives a nod to Art Deco. Films aren't main stream. The proprietors hold a lot of events for charity. You can get a good glass of wine at the concession stand. Why aren't you there already?!
