We met up with friends from Melbourne at Beaufort House and it was a great place for us to get together. We had a lovely meal in the restaurant on Friday night and the sunny verandah was the perfect place to enjoy a relaxing breakfast on Saturday and Sunday mornings. Usually we are not keen on shared facilities preferring ensuite; however, with three bathrooms very close to our room, we never had to wait for the facilities and they were always clean. There is much to do in the area - we went to Yarrangobilly Caves and the Adelong Falls and gold mining ruins - all very worthwhile.

Room Tip: The large Vienna Suite with an ensuite would be worth splurging on.

We spent two days in the Adelong area with Beaufort House as the base and the accommodation and food were excellent. Cynthia's hospitality background shines through in all aspects of the B&B and the stay was relaxing and warm with the food capping off a great two days. We will return for certain.

Cyntjia and her husband have restored the Beaufort to an old world retreat. Combining accommodation, food and a wine bar in an early Federation House, that is a peaceful & luxury stay. Their hospitality is first rate and everything is there to help your stay and to set an environment where you can relax from the day's travel and provides a good base to discover the local area. Adelong makes a good base to visit Batlow, Tumut, Talbingo and the Snowies.

Room Tip: The front rooms open up onto the balcony which was great for breakfast or a late port. If you can afford a little more the rooms at the end have their own facilites but that is not essential as there more than adquate share facilities.
