We had an extremely relaxing time during our 2 night stay at Beaufort House. The food was amazing (especially the austrian plater!) and Cynthia's hospitality was far beyond expectation. Definitely recommend staying at Beauford house- whether passing through on the way to the snow or lookimg a relaxing getaway!

My wife and I recently spent a wonderful two days and nights at Beaufort House. We arrived to a very warm welcome from our host Cynthia and throughout the two days were treated with excellent service. Cynthia has a great enthusiasm and passion to look after her guests.

The accomodation is very homely and welcoming. The rooms are very comfortable and tastefully decorated to reflect the heritage of the hotel.

The wine bar is a great place to kick back and try some of the wonderful local wines. The Kaffehause restaurant offers wonderful food. We were lucky that the chef had just returned from holiday and we enjoyed two wonderful dinners over the two nights.

There are no TV's in the bedrooms ( this we liked) but there is a very relaxing guest lounge with a TV. Breakfast is very casual where guests help themselves to tea, coffee, juice, cereal, toast etc and can be enjoyed on the upper front verandah watching the world go by.

Cynthia and her husband have created a unique experience. The whole atmosphere within and around Beaufort House lends itself to having a very relaxing time.

Thanks again to Cynthia and Ric.

I can thoroughly recommend a stay at Beaufort House.

Room Tip: Rooms at the back of the hotel are quieter, although smaller.

We stayed one night in the motel at this place and I would not recommend it to anyone, it was very noisy with people coming from nearby Hotels swearing and yelling till after 11.30. We had 2 dogs with us and fortunately they did not bark at these people but every other dog in Adelong did, the motel is overpirced for what it is.

We thank you for taking the time to write your review re your stay in our 'pet friendly' motel accommodation. It is unfortunate that on this particular night in which you stayed it was during the annual Adelong Show and celebrations where taking place in other venues with patrons passing our establishment on their return home. Please do know that the persons in question where in fact addressed by us directly and asked to move on quickly and quietly. These are moments that are unfortunately out of our control, and Adelong is normally a quiet country town. We were unable to apologise or address this with you directly due to your early departure to partake in the Adelong Show with your dogs. Please accept our humble apologises on this occasion. kindest regards, Cynthia Bierling

Recently we spent 2 nights in a charming boutique hotel and had a great experience searching the local attractions which were suggested by the host and owner Cynthia. We checked out the Thermal pools and the Limestone caves at Koscuiszko National Park. The accomodation was very different but very homely and welcoming. The port that came with the room rate was a real treat and refilled each day. We booked on an internet voucher which gave us quite a good discount and made for a really reasonable weekend. Had a wonderful time with fantastic weather, which was probably a little too warm as at night, our rooms were stuffy because the room was a little small, but hey next time I would look at the larger room if going in the summer. Cynthia's enthusiasm was overflowing and she is obviously very passionate. Looking for something different then this is it.

Room Tip: Rooms leading onto verandah are preferable and the larger rooms on each end even better
