Cheswardine is a large 4 bed cottage in the little village of Treligga near Tintagel. The down stairs houses a large comfortable living room with wood burner, an enormous well equipped kitchen diner with an Aga cooker and a smaller living room. Upstairs are two large double bedrooms, one en suite, two slightly smaller twin bedrooms and a family bathroom with shower. The whole house is light and airy and appeared to be well maintained. The coast path is probably a half mile walk across fields and a short distance further is a steep path down to a lovely beach. There is a walk to Tnitagel but is for the reasonably fit only with some steep ascents and descents. Delabole quarry is well worth a visit. Other local attractions include Port Isaac, Walks around Pentire Head, The Camel Trail cycle way, Polzeath and Padstow to name but a few.
We stayed with a group of four friends and had a great time. A lovely , clean, well looked after cottage in a superb quiet setting.More
