lovely staff, nice location, food good, unfortunately had the fish chips and peas and for £11.50 thought it was a complete rip off. fish the size of a spratt, table spoon of peas and a dozen chips. I've had a childrens fish and chips in other places at quarter of the cost.

We visited Mount Edgcumbe whilst staying at a beautiful holiday rental nearby. You can easily get there on foot from Plymouth by the Cremyll Ferry or drive round via Torpoint.
Mount Edgcumbe is owned by the city of Plymouth. The House is interesting but it is really the wonderful grounds and walks which are a must.
There are beautiful views to Plymouth Sound. Pavilions, an Orangery with a wonderful cafe.Great pasties from the little gatehouse. It is a real treat and not to be missed if you are visiting Plymouth!

We stayed at Cremyll and spent a few hours for two days exploring the grounds. Views over the Tamar to Plymouth and Drake Island are wonderful. View from the house itself is breathtaking you can see for miles. Nice little craft centre there with a cafe to get tea, cakes etc

The crochet workshop was great - this one was for moving on after the basics, and making a hat. Jane our instructor was very good; lots of good ideas and guidance. I learned lot today - and all for £15 including tea and biscuits!
