Book and you won't be disappointed. A great spot for families with very young children. All activities and entertainment directed at young children. Indoor play, wild kids (where the children play with mud, make fires and melt marshmallows), feeding the chickens, ducks, goats and sheep etc... all ideal from 2 years (or even younger) and up! We all enjoyed it. Accommodation is of a very good standard. Spacious, funky, good quality. Everything you could need and a beautiful cake to welcome you. Although I would say we really missed having a sound system we could tap into and even ended up 'borrowing' the blue tooth speaker from the gym after hours and replacing before the morning with a note to apologise if noticed! There is even a shed full of wellie boots of all sizes, ponchos and rain suits from tiny to large and BBQ sets, all ready to borrow whenever you need them. The zip wire and gruffalow walk were favourites with my two toddlers. Many lovel beaches just a short drive away.. and the Eden Project. You won't run out of things to do or do laces to go. We used a caterer to celebrate a special anniversary one night and I can't recommend him highly enough. Peter from PQ Event Caterer. Literally some of the best food I've had! Fresh quality ingredients, cooked to perfection! Only things I would say about the garden (and hot tub!) was that with a family dog also staying,it would have been great if the back garden could be 'dog proofed' allowing us to relax out there in or out of the hot tub,
In the sage knowledge that Kimba couldn't get through to the chickens! It would also be good to have a full length mirror somewhere in or near the bedrooms, perhaps in the corridor area near the bathrooms? Have already highly recommend to several friends, a few of which have already had it recommended to them. Book early to avoid disappointment! Fabulous. I'm sure you'll love it.

Hi josnns b
Thank you for your lovely comprehensive review, we are delighted that you enjoyed your stay here at Bosinver so much, and the children made good use of all the amenities we have on offer here on the farm, its good to know that the 'Wild Kids' session proved to be so popular too,Tatum (Wild kids leader) works hard to make this a really special event for each child. I hope the lack of 'surround sound' didn't spoil your enjoyment too much whilst you were here. I have put your blue tooth request to the team, who will be looking into the pros and cons, with technology moving at the pace it does these days we can sometimes take a month or two to catch up :-) Thank you for recommending Bosinver I hope we can welcome you and the family back again very soon.

We stayed in Pear, myself, wife, baby daughter and dog. The accommodation was perfect for our needs. Cleanliness was of the highest level, something which my wife was concerned about. Maybe we choose the wrong time of year to visit due to the weather but Bosinver facilities were superb. The indoor pool and soft play child area were excellent, they kept my daughter highly entertained.
As for the people that own and help run Bosinver, they were excellent, especially Paul ! They were extremely helpful, very friendly and provided great knowledge of the local area's where we could take our dog.
This was our first stay but it definitely won't be our last ! Great place !
Jess

Hi jessingh2017 Thank you for your lovely review. We are delighted that you found Pear cottage to be perfect for your holiday. I'm sorry if the Cornish weather was a little unkind to you whilst you were here, but I'm glad to see that you made good use of all the weatherproof facilities we provide around the farm. I will pass on your kind comments to Helen and the housekeeping team, they do work hard to see that every cottages is spotless for our guests when they arrive. I will also let Paul and the team know that you appreciated their help and local knowledge, we all enjoy helping our guests to get the most out of their stay here at Bosinver farm and around our beautiful corner of the Cornish countryside. We are delighted that you loved your stay with us so much, that you intended to return, and we look forward to welcoming you back here again very soon.

We have just (very reluctantly) returned from a stay at Cherry cottage. We couldn't have asked for a better week. The cottage was beautiful, spacious, and had everything we needed. Our 4 year old and 4 month were perfectly happy during our stay and we were able to make use of the fantastic pool and play barn. Animal feeding was a real highlight and so nice to see our daughter get a bit braver each time.

Bosinver totally deserves (and lives up to) the hype. We can't wait to go back.

Hi sween/01 Thank you for giving us such a lovely review. Its good to hear that you loved staying in Cherry cottage so much, it is in an ideal spot to watch the wild life in the field from the big picture window in the lounge, equally it nice and handy for adventures to the woodland walk, gruffalo trail and zip-wire. I will pass on your kind comment to Farmer Dave he works really hard to make animal feeding a special experience for all the children, and he is never happier than watching the shyer children gaining in confidence with every passing day. We are delighted that you can confirm that Bosinver really does live up to all our great reviews. We really look forward to welcoming you back to Bosinver again very soon.

What is it about Bosinver that calls you back again and again. This was our third visit, in three years! It's become an annual event! It never disappoints, and you never tire, of what you know is brilliant. I'm a granny with a daughter, and two much loved grandchildren aged 5 and 6. We love the atmosphere, the attention to detail, and the passion behind the team who present this wonderful experience. There is so much to do within the farm. We enjoyed our own picnic lunch in the wood, sat on logs, it seemed the place was our own, it was memory making. Tom loved the zip wire, the tyre swing and the very safe climbing wall. He and I sat staring across the lake, watching dragon flies, glisten in the sun. We loved the gruffalo trail. Both he and his sister Alice loved Wild Kids, animal feeding with Farmer Dave. Both adored the pony ride together. We have stayed twice in Rose Cottage, but this time sampled Valley View, watching the mist over the valley rise, and the blue sky at dusk could we forget it. We went out and about too to the beaches, The Eden Project, and Lanhydrock, but knowing there was a swim and a chance to meet with newly found small friends, at teatime each day. we can't wait to see what happens next. When I handed the key back yesterday I shed a tear, it's very hard to leave you all, thank you for the magic. ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Hi Joan A It was a pleasure for us to read your wonderful review, it is always a joy to welcome families back to Bosinver time and time again, and particularly satisfying when they tell us that on each occasion they discover even more Bosinver 'magic' to enjoy. I will pass on your kind words to Tatum, Dave and the team, Tatum works extremely hard to make the Wild Kids session a special time for each of the children, and of course what child could ever forget the morning animal feeding with Farmer Dave :-) We are delighted that you enjoyed staying in Valley View cottage, it is a great favourite with kids big and small who want to be nearer to the Zip wire and Gruffalo trail, plus, as you say the views down the valley in the morning and evening light can be pretty impressive. I hope we will be welcoming you back to Bosinver very soon for visit no 4.

Very sad to be on our way home from a fantastic week thanks to Farmer Dave, Paul and all the people that work to make a stay at Bosinver so fun, stress-free and relaxing.

We were almost glad when the weather turned and we cancelled planned trips to the beach and Lappa Valley in favour of hanging out on site. Between the two playgrounds, the games room, play barn and swimming pool, all extremely well-equipped and clean, plus the tennis, animal feeding and sheds of stuff to borrow there was more than enough to keep us occupied.

When packing, check out the list of things included as there's very little extra required. Wellies are a must (but even then there are lots available to borrow) and swimming towels, but the cottages have almost everything you could need.

We loved Porthluney and Pentewan beaches and the Eden project, the pony ride and Wild Kids forest school on site, plus Bicton gardens that we visited while stopping in Exeter for a few days, but you really need two weeks here to allow time to indulge in the facilities and also see some of the many local attractions.

Many thanks for our easiest and most enjoyable holiday since having kids! They're already asking when we're coming back

Hi Alix R Thank you for your amazing review, we were delighted to hear that your stay at Bosinver was both a fun and relaxing experience, that is exactly our goal for our guests. We have tried to 'weather proof' as much as possible a stay here on the farm, so it was great to hear that you found lots to do on the more inclement days of your stay, and that the children enjoyed the Wild kids club with Tatum and the pony riding with Helen and Dave . Its also good to know that you found our central position here in Cornwall convenient for getting out and about to some of our wonderful beaches, and local tourist attractions. I hope it won't be too long before we can welcome you back to Bosinver again.
