“Seaside Paradise”
Reviewed 1 March 2017 for a stay in July 2016

My family of 4 stayed in this delightful Cottage for a week last summer. Upon arriving at the cottage we were smitten and I soon fell in love with the beautifully presented cottage overlooking the tranquil sea. Seaside Cottage is set in the most exquisite landscape with breath-taking views over the ocean, an enchanting garden (big enough to get lost in) and its own private pathway and entry to the adorable beach below (where we were amazed at the thousands of little fish that were swimming at the waters edge, with sea-gulls flying and diving in for a feed). Seven nights was not nearly long enough, for we ventured to St. Ives, Port Issac, Tintagel Castle and many other locations around Cornwall, which left such little time to spend in this delightful Seaside Paradise. I however did treasure my own special 'alone' time each morning having my breakfast on the veranda overlooking the ocean and watching the fishermen in their little boats casting their fishing nets. Also my special little picnics in the delightful garden, with its stunning twisting pathway, beautiful lawns to picnic on and the most exquisite trees (including apple trees), roses, rhododendrons and other flora. The cottage also has an original classroom attached, which was used to teach the local school children in the past. This part of the cottage was closed, but it gave the cottage added appeal. I highly recommend a stay in Seaside Holiday Cottage. I cannot wait to return. And finally, a huge thank you to Rachel, who popped in to introduce herself. It was lovely to meet you Rachel, and Thank you so much for providing such a beautiful Haven. Next time I will book a longer stay.

“Wonderful cottage with amazing garden.”
Reviewed 3 August 2016 for a stay in July 2016

We had a lovely stay in this cottage. It's a great location with a nice beach just minutes away (although be prepared for a steep climb back home!). Also very close to the Eden project and Charlestown which were both great days out with the kids.

Our children loved the large garden, full of beautiful flowers and lots of hidden paths and hiding spots which provided hours of entertainment for our 2. It also has spectacular views of the coastline and sea.

The cottage is beautifully presented with lots of storage and essentials provided, even beach gear such as rock pool nets, buckets and wind breakers. There are spectacular views from every room and plenty of space to spread out in on rainy or lazy days.

We had a fantastic relaxing break and Rachel was very helpful if we had any questions about the cottage.

“Excellent accomodation, lovely location”
Reviewed 4 June 2015 for a stay in May 2015

Cottage interior was both excellent and charming. Location was quiet and peaceful with a lovely view down to the sea from both the windows and decking veranda. Whilst there you'd think you were miles from any major town but actually where only a mile or so from St Austell.

Particularly enjoyed the nearby cliff top footpath although I wouldn't recommend this to the very young or slightly infirm.

Cottage had both HD TV and WiFi which were a boon on the evenings some of our party were too tired to go out.

“The most beautiful, tranquil retreat with the finest view of the sea”
Reviewed 4 December 2014 for a stay in November 2014

I am local to this part of Cornwall and can honestly say you won't find a more comfortable, clean and equipped cottage near the sea. It takes minutes to walk to the beach and Charlestown is close by also. The views are outstanding from all the windows which makes you not want to go out. Open Fire with supplies, home made cake, fresh coffee and tea. What a wonderful place!
