A victim of its own success, Sharps is growing nicely and its accolades are well deserved.
Innovative thinking has produced excellent beers and its interaction with the local community has made it stand above all others.
Well worth an arranged visit for a tour and a tasting.

Several times a year I visit Cornwall..and when we do, a visit to Sharp's brewery is a must.
Usually in charge of the shop/tour is Duncan..very knowledgeable and always helpful with sampling the different ales before making a purchase.
Most of the greats Doom,Original,Atlantic,Coaster and Sea Fury (was Special) always available in 9 pint tins and of course most of them in bottles too aswell as the new dark and very tasty ''Seven Souls''...
Anyhoo...if you like beer and are in Kernow...get yourself down to Sharps.
Next time I will take the brewery tour.....SPLANN.!!

You will need to book a tour of the brewery. They do have a very good informative display inside the shop that tells about beer brewing. Not sure what you do with the alloy kegs you get when you buy 9 pints. Try the Atlantic but chill it well in the fridge first it is a lovely smooth long drink.

A great way to spend an afternoon! A informative and personalised tour around the brewery, followed by an entertaining beer tasting session - Duncan was a great host.
Would highly recommended this to all, even if you are not a big ale drinker, you maybe pleasantly surprised!

Was just the two of us, visiting out of season. Ably showed round and entertained by Duncan, great to see behind the scenes of the working brewery - a lot less of a touristy attraction than some brewery tours. Was good try out some of the special one off beers, and learn what makes them different.
