A very spacious luxurious house with excellent views! Mevagissey is a lovely little town with good shops and restaurants, and crabbing alongside the proper fisherman on the harbour. The ferry to Fowey makes a decent day out (but get in the queue early!). It's a very short drive to Goran Haven or Caerhays for good sandy beaches.
Amazing place with incredible views.
5* accommodation with a fully equipped house for a large family. Really good communication with Andrew who replied and answered any questions or queries I had. Star gazing at night is worth every penny.
Would definitely recommend to any family of any age range.
Just try and top this stunning holiday home which is just a short walk from Mevagissey.
The property is crisply modern with a Mediterranean garden which hides it from the quiet road below. We enjoyed all our meals on the terrace at the front so that we could enjoy the view. The house has all mod cons with a large modern kitchen/family room. The two main front rooms downstairs and main upstairs bedrooms each have huge floor to ceiling picture windows to make the most of the view. It has parking for 4 cars.
Portmellon (With beach and pub) is only a short walk down the hill.
Mevagissey is a must visit in Cornwall, a working port with very narrow streets, lot of shops, good restaurants, a few pubs and a free aquarium and museum.
Lots of walks along stunning coastal parks. Lost Gardens of Helligan and the Eden Project are close by.
Ideally located to visit the very many attractions of Cornwall, can't wait for the opportunity to book again!
Located between the pretty fishing Cornish villages of Mevagissey and Port Mellon this beautifully appointed property occupies a commanding position . My partner Sue and I joined other family members for a break that was over far too soon.
No creature comfort was overlooked and the sea views from the principal rooms were outstanding. The sun shone, local pubs and restaurants provided fine fare and a visit to the renowned "Lost gardens of Heligan" was memorable. Even the local seal put on a performance for us in the harbour!!
We stayed in Ocean view house in May. We had the master bedroom which was not only huge but had the most fantastic views out to sea, waking on that first morning and opening the blinds and curtains and laying in bed watching all the boats, and crafts going by was breathtaking. Getting a cup of tea and sitting on the master bedrooms balcony was out of this world. With just a very short walk to Mevagissey town and harbour this house is so ideally situated. There was so much downstairs space which included two living rooms and TVs which catered for everybody needs, but to be perfectly honest, with the views from this house, who wants to watch tv.
