“Great apartment, cool town”

This place is modern and clean and the owner really made us feel at home. She recommended restaurants that were excellent and when we arrived at the apartment we were greeted with fresh scones, clotted cream and jam as well as everything we needed in the kitchen. All I regret is that I didn't have a chance to play with the Bassett hound puppy I saw in their backyard!

“Great place, great scones!”
Reviewed 23 April 2017 for a stay in April 2017

Had a fantastic stay here and Tracy was lovely! The scones were great and the house was perfect with everything you needed for a 4 day break. Good location for travelling to other places in Cornwall. Would definitely stay here again!

Everything you could possibly need is here including wonderful views as well as a complimentary bottle of wine with freshly made scones. The cottage has been refurbished to an excellent standard and has a sun-trap for a garden. Parking is right outside the house. In a word, it is faultless and if you need help, Bob is right next door. This was our first stay at a cottage rather than a B&B or hotel and my partner is now completely converted to the idea. She's quite fussy as well so I can't give a better review than that!

“Lovely, relaxing and comfortable short break in Mevagissey.”

Beautiful short stay in Mevagissey. Booking was easy and communication with the property owner was efficient and very helpful. We booked via Airbnb, but you can also book on their website and the accommodation is advertised on Facebook as well. I will be booking through the website in future to avoid additional charges.

Accommodation was superb and couldn't fault it. Cosy, clean and everything you need for a very comfortable and pleasant stay. The owners were very welcoming and we had freshly made cream teas, flowers and a bottle of wine on arrival, which was an extra special touch - thank you!
Please note that to achieve a view such as harbour view, the accommodation is located at the top of a hill. So it can be a steep walk up to the house. However, I contacted the owner prior to my arrival who was very helpful in suggesting alternatives to overcome the steep walk, such as a parking pass and the car parks in the village being reasonably priced. Walking up/down the hill was manageable for us and we were in the village within 5 minutes.

The purpose of our stay was to visit National Trust attractions and we could visit many using the accommodation as a base.

We would definitely recommend this accommodation to others and would have no hesitation to return in the future. :-)

Thank you!

“quality accommodation with great hosts”
Reviewed 1 March 2016 for a stay in February 2016

We had a wonderful two night stay in this ideally located beautifully furnished home. The sea views from the living room and master bedroom were wonderful. Great space for four adults, and the lovely hosts had thought of pretty much everything to make our stay perfect. Great quality bedding, linen and towels, everything you need in the kitchen, board games, books DVDs....... . It's only a five minute walk to the centre of Mevagissey, probably seven on the way back as it's a bit steep on the road up to Harbour View, and in Mevagissey there is a good selection of restaurants and pubs - definitetely recommend the Salamander Restaurant but make sure you book ahead,
