As the photos show, this is a lovely little cottage in a village location, with bags of character. It's in an ideal location to travel along the south coast of Cornwall, or even to head up to the north coast. You get far most space than you would paying a lot more in a caravan or other holiday rentals. The kitchen is well equipped, so you can do a lot of cooking if you prefer to stay in rather than eat out. There's plenty of room in the garden too. The beds are comfy - always an important point! - and the pub is right across the road. The only downsides are having to go through one bedroom to the get to the other, and that there is no internet connection, and seriously limited phone service. If internet/Wifi was added, I'd be giving this five stars.
We stayed at the cottage a week and found it to be very well equipt. The pub just across the road had a good menu we found the food delicious, with cornish size portions. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. St Ewe was also a great base for exploring this area.
A lovely little cottage, it had everything we needed inside, and a gorgeous garden outside, ideal for relaxing with a BBQ. Situated in a peaceful location with a fab pub a stones throw away. Good base location for the usual tourist traps, eg: Eden Project, Lost Gardens of Heligan, a few minutes drive from Mevagissy, and St. Austal, and about 30 minutes from Newquay.
We would be happy to stay again in the future.
