“A must stay location.”
Reviewed 6 April 2016 for a stay in March 2016

What a wonderful place with wonderful people.
We had such fun at Tudor Lodge.
We drank and ate in the BBQ hut both nights cooking over the open fire.
Fantastic surroundings with beautiful gardens.
We will be back.

“Beautiful scenic location set in private tranquility, lovely lodge and very welcoming hosts”
Reviewed 1 April 2016 for a stay in March 2016

We spent Easter weekend at the lodge with our son and his girlfriend and our two small dogs. What a find! The lodge is in a perfect setting, with rolling countryside views, set in peace and tranquility. All very private and secluded with so much outdoor space to walk or relax and enjoy the views. Our dogs thoroughly enjoyed running around the field! Dennis and Liz are the most welcoming of hosts, very genuine and helpful. The lodge is very well equipped and the bed very comfortable. We enjoyed cooking in the bbq cabin and had fun doing so with the obligatory Viking hat! The weather wasn't too kind for most of our stay, but that didn't spoil our enjoyment or appreciation of the lodge, we visited many local areas and found it a delight to come back to the relaxing lodge at the end of the day. We would love to return in the summer and make use of the pool. Thank you to Dennis and Liz for making us feel so welcome. We hope to see you again soon.

“Gorgeous, secluded, little piece of heaven!”
Reviewed 29 February 2016 for a stay in February 2016

We spent February half term in Tudor Lodge with our 2 children (5 & 2yrs old). This was our 3rd visit and it still has all the charm & character as it did on our first! We love Tudor Lodge and it holds a special place in our hearts as we got engaged in the BBQ hut last May. It's a place to escape, a place to relax but also a good base for sightseeing the rest of Cornwall. It's not far from anywhere and we covered Newquay, St. Ives, Truro and Looe just last week. We also visited the wonderful Eden Project during our stay last year. Tudor Lodge is a home from home, with everything you need for a self-catering break. We have been there as both a couple & a family and it suits both. So beautiful to wake up to open fields with a pond and ducks to the front, the horse to the back and the BBQ hut & rolling fields to the right. Dennis & Liz are wonderful hosts and are always on hand to advise on places to go or join us for a bottle of wine! We love visiting them and their holiday home. We would highly recommend it.

“Amazing”
Reviewed 5 October 2015 for a stay in September 2015

Had such a great time at tudor lodge and did not want to leave.
Loved the bbq cabin and had some great food and drink in there. Got given a bottle of champagne and bottles of cider on arrival to say sorry for the swimming pool not working which was very nice of Dennis and Liz, shame it didn't but there's always next time as we are deffo going back. Couldn't of asked for a more relaxing and beautiful weekend, just a shame it had to end.
And also my dog made friends with their 2 St Bernards lol, he loved it there too was knackered by the second day haha.
Thanks for ur hospitality and making our weekend amazing will be coming back soon.
Thanks Liz and Dennis xxxx

“ABSOLUTELY AMAZING”
Reviewed 4 September 2015 for a stay in August 2015

Stayed for two weeks at this amazing location everything we could have wished for and much more I personally fell in love with the place and felt so relaxed and chilled out with its location and stunning grounds.. stayed with hubby and 3 children (16, 14, 8) also my 2 Shih Tzu fur babies who loved the place and were so good and never ventured too far without us barring in mind one was a 17 week old puppy she was well behaved. My husband and I slept so well here as it is so quiet and tranquil there was plenty of space on 3 sofa beds in the main area for the children, the pool well what can I say hail rain or shine we thoroughly enjoyed splashing around morning noon or night. OWL lodge is also amazing and relaxing had so many good nights in there eating and drinking.. Liz and Dennis also joined us for a couple of drinks and bite to eat...well Dennis may have had more than a couple...lol amazing couple with plenty of tales to tell, they looked after our every need and by the end of the two weeks felt we had made some lovely friends...we would recommend this little piece of paradise to everyone and we will definitely be returning at some point in the future... did not want to come home :-( x
