“Hidden Gem - Well worth the money!”
Reviewed 24 September 2014 for a stay in September 2014

D+E were exceptionally welcoming, the place far exceeded all my expectations! Will definitely be going again. The place is set in a beautiful tranquil area. There were no noises and no one to overlook you. The layout of the cabin was perfect, with the added bonus of the BBQ cabin and taking the "traditional viking helmet photo!" I could not have asked for better weather and really made good use of the pool! Can't wait to go again, and with the promise of a Cornish Pasty waiting for me who can grumble at that! All in all a fantastic and relaxing holiday and fantastic value for money.

“The best in the West”
Reviewed 6 September 2014 for a stay in September 2014

This is one of the most magical and wonderful places you could ever hope to visit. Beautifully nestled in your own very private part of the Cornish countryside you can swim, cook in the Scandinavian themed BBQ cabin and relax! Dennis and Liz are the perfect hosts in every way.. In fact, please don't tell everyone - We want to keep this one a secret!

“Escape to the Country”
Reviewed 1 September 2014 for a stay in August 2014

Weather was not kind to us during our weeks stay but this did not spoil our week in these cosy cabins. We spent most evenings in the Owl Lodge cooking tea and our 17 year old Son slept there for most of the week. The gardens are beautiful and we spent a sunny afternoon in the pool. Loved the magical effect at night when the lights came on. We recommend a trip to the Lost Gardens of Heligan, Looe and The Cheesewring Hotel for great food. Do not hesitate to book this wonderful escape. Thanks to Dennis and Elizabeth for being wonderful hosts.

“Fantastic”
Reviewed 27 August 2014 for a stay in August 2014

Just returned from a week at Tudor Lodge and have to say it was fantastic! The lodge is in a quiet setting and very comfortable with all you need. The addition of Owl Lodge to BBQ in was great we used it most evenings. The pool was very private and perfect in a sheltered spot even when the wind was blowing. Our dog was born to be a country dog and loved it all as well. Would like to say thank you to Dennis and Elizabeth who made us very welcome we had a great holiday. Thank you.

“Wonderful holiday!”
Reviewed 5 August 2014 for a stay in July 2014

2 adults & 2 kids stayed for a week

Really warm welcome from Dennis and Liz who made us feel very at home. The heated swimming pool was fantastic and a big hit with our girls, they spent hours splashing about in it even when the sun wasn't shining. We had great fun barbecuing in the Owl Lodge & toasting marshmallows and was a great place to hang out. Wifi is good and a saviour when you have preteens to keep occupied of an evening. Great walls around the owners land and some gorgeous sunsets! We had been further east for the first week of our hols and had gathered some washing so the only thing lacking was access to a washing machine but I hand washed so no biggie really.

Great base to get out the explore Cornwall we recommend Crabbing in Looe for kids whilst the adults can browse the many shops and sample the pubs & restaurants, gorgeous at night! Adrenalin Quarry a 10 min drive away was an amazing experience, huge zip line no booking needed! Falmouth was lovely too & off course Lands End but Penzance was better. And a visit to the Eden project was really good but go dressed for the tropics as the rainforest can get really hot!

It was lovely to arrive at the Lodge to find our pre orderedshopping has been put away by Dennis and Liz taking that chore away! I really was on holiday! We pre ordered our shopping online with Tesco although ASDA also deliver, morrisons & Aldi are both nearby in Liskeard if you want to shop when you get there.

Extremely peaceful & relaxing setting and we will certainly be recommending Tudor Lodge and would love to go back!
