A mini tour of Cornwall, you lucky people, what a great holiday. Room 10 does have incredible views, defiantly one of my favourite rooms with two bay windows, one for each of you. We will not only be keeping up the great work, but improving it, so on your 2nd visit we will wow you even more. Thank you for your kind words, best wishes.

The Llawnroc is situated in a quiet coastal village and is perfectly situated for access to all areas of the county of Cornwall. It is a very stylish modern hotel which has been tastefully refurbished to a very high standard throughout. We were warmly welcomed by courteous, friendly and helpful staff who made our stay very pleasurable. Nothing was too much trouble. We were shown to our spacious, comfortable room on arrival and the main public areas were pointed out en route. We were delighted to discover that the food offered in the restaurant was varied, adventurous and absolutely delicious! First class local produce, particularly fish, is widely available. A varied breakfast was cooked to order, hot and a superb start to the day. If you enjoy tranquillity, fine food and comfort do visit the Llawnroc Hotel and enjoy a relaxing time!

Room Tip: Rooms facing the sea are pleasant.

At the risk of sounding dramatic --- this was probably the best hotel we have (ever) stayed in. From the moment we checked-in. Such a relaxed receptionist - even anticipating the potential stress effects of driving en-route through the crazy narrow 2-way streets of Mevagissey!!! Never has so much thought gone into making quality, style, decor, facilities, service just right. What a room!! Everything exuded luxury. Even the towels smelled really nice. Spacious enough to swallow the giant bed, and a hallway and large bathroom. The food and wine were wonderful too - and such a good idea to have a breakfast room and residents' lounge. Such an old fashioned tradition but very chic!! Can't sing the praises of staff highly enough and the lads in the bar gave us a few laughs while serving our pink champagne. Oh and most importantly - this place is not pretentious at all. Really want to go back and spend more than a night.

We went for several meals here, not staying at the hotel. The food was delicious but the noise levels in the restauarant are deafening. It needs to be broken into more intimate areas, the designers have not used any soft furnishings or acoustic absorption. We found ourselves shouting to be heard.

Thank you for your review, we are actually looking into carpeting the floor next winter as we think this will help with the noise in there, however I am open to any suggestions that you think may help. Happy to hear you enjoyed the food, and hope you will dine with us again.
