Description: C-Bay Café/Bar/Bistro opened in October 2013 and sits with an unsurpassed view over Crantock Beach and the coastline beyond. The café feel during the day is enhanced by delicious breakfasts, home-baked cakes and savouries, fresh 'Olfactory Coffee' and iced smoothies - with regular updates on our Facebook page to tempt you through the doors! Lunch consists of a variety of ciabatta's, sandwiches and chicken, fish and vegetarian options together with more substantial meals such as burgers and fish & chips. Our traditional Afternoon Tea, served with Tregothnan tea is also not to be missed or our Cornish Cream Tea served with Rodda's cream and Boddington's strawberry jam. Our more sophisticated evening menu incorporates locally sourced seasonal ingredients to create mouth-watering dishes with Cornish and British influences, alongside popular dishes such as our classic 'C-Bay' burger in a Baker Tom bun and locally caught sustainable fish. You can choose to dine in C-Bay, on the huge sun terrace or in the garden - wherever the mood or occasion takes you. Wherever you are, you can be assured of stunning views across Crantock Beach and the coastline beyond and due to our close proximity to the South West Coastal Footpath, we are happy to welcome dogs to C-Bay too! Christenings, Weddings, Anniversaries or Private Parties are catered for all year round. Please call 01637 830229 to discuss your requirements and preferred date. We are open every day (10am-9pm) although evenings will be limited during the winter months.

Nice food in a café located with stunning views. The food on the whole was what we wanted and better than most pub grub and priced to match. The staff where pleasant and attentive.
The food presentation seems to be dependent on the cook on the night.
On one evening the rib eye stake was more like rump (need to change butcher).
The wine Merlot at £19 taste cheap. A check revealed it was a wine that typically sells at £6.19 and only rated 3.6 out of 5. So terrible for £19
The Sauvignon Blanc is similarly marked up with a rating of 2.9 out of 5.
One night we had a rowdy party who apologised as they left. If the realised they where disturbing other diners they could have controlled themselves
Dogs are allowed in the café and another night we had one that seemed to enjoy spending the evening barking.
So on balance one good evening, one average and one a total let down. Two other couples we spoke with had similar mixed feelings on the café.
Hope this is seen as an opportunity to improve on what could be an outstanding experience for diners.
