I had been meaning to try this out for a while and had good fun in the sunshine. For a green fee of £15 you aren't going to get the same level of course as for £45-50. The tees and greens were a bit patchy in places. Clubhouse was very basic but course seem reasonably maintained. The course overall was pretty challenging for a high handicapper like me but also lots of fun. The front 9 are pretty open which was great in the sunshine and there were a fair number of ditches, dog-legs and water hazards. It being September there were fruit hazards too on the fairways and around the greens, though not on them I liked the way that you can't see the flag from the tee on quite a number of holes. The back 9 have different challenges with the 14th, 15th and 16th very challenging and picturesque. I had a good afternoon's golf with virtually no one else on the course, will try this one again.
