The photographs on trip advisor do not do his cottage justice. Kim has thought of everything you could possibly need for a relaxing break. Lovely homely touches and very clean accommodation. We would not hesitate to recommend this to our friends.
Thank you Kim for the fizz, chocs and crumpets you supplied. We really hope to visit again!
Didn't want to come home. Beautiful cabin with absolutely everything you could want for a lovely relaxing stay. The scenery is stunning and to sit on the decking with a glass of wine watching the river and the fields is just bliss. I'd dearly love to stay again. Strongly recommend to anyone wishing to visit the area.
Spent Easter weekend break with family in this extremely comfortable spacious cabin. It's very nicely furnished, well maintained and very thoughtfully equipped.....absolutely everything you would need for your stay is provided. There's a lovely large private outdoor area too, with beautiful views of both the Severn and Wyre Forrest. Loads of local walks and plenty of places to visit too. We spent a day out and about on the Severn Valley Railway which can actually be seen from the property. Kim (the owner) was very helpful and a pleasure to deal with, even leaving us some Easter goodies as a welcome...a nice personal touch! Can't wait to stay again for longer Fabulous place to stay and enjoy a relaxing break!
This was a return stay at Roundstone View and hopefully not the last. The property is spacious and comfortably furnished. The view from the property of the Severn and the Wyre Forest is stunning. Very handy for the safari park and the steam railway. Also lots of lovely walks nearby. Be prepared to be woken up by the dawn chorus.
Don't leave without sampling Catchems fish and chips.
My husband and I stayed here with our two boys during February half-term and had a really lovely time. The house is situated on the banks of the River Severn and is rural enough to feel like you are in the countryside, but close to all the local attractions.
The house is very well equipped and comfortable, with everything you need at your fingertips. Kim was very welcoming after a long journey up from the New Forest, and had supplied a few goodies in the fridge which were very eagerly received my our boys, plus a lovely surprise of bubbly for the adults.
Parking is easy, as it's right outside the cottage and can accommodate two vehicles in the driveway. And the garden and decking are contained by fencing to keep our boys from adventuring too far. There are also a few seating areas dotted around, so perfect for a barbecue (grill provided) and if it hadn't rained most of the time we were there, we would have taken advantage of this!
We could not have wanted for more and will be staying here again when visiting our family and friends in the area. If you want a home away from home, this is it :)
