“Relaxing Secluded Rural Riverside Location”

Amazing location and spotlessly clean property with every possible creature comfort thought about and provided by the owners ....... even a bread maker and bread mix supplied. Wonderful Welcome Pack including chocolate & Presecco in the fridge ..... very much enjoyed on the first evening sitting on the balcony overlooking the river !!! and just when you think it can't get better than this, there is private fishing right on the doorstep.... heaven!!!.
A thoroughly enjoyable holiday and one of just a few places my wife and I would return to without hesitation. Did not want to leave and can't wait for next year.
The property suited our needs perfectly and exceeded the expectations of the remainder of our adult only group, who wanted a relaxing restful break, hence our 5 star rating.
During the day there are a multitude of local attractions to visit including the Drive Thro Safari Park 5 minutes drive down the road. Gets very busy but well worth a visit. Our children (grown-up) could not resist a trip to Cadbury World just over 30 minutes away !!
Given that our group was all adult we could find no fault, however on a cautionary note if you have inquisative toddlers or young adventurous children in your group you should be aware that there is a steep sloping bank from the property down to the fast flowing River Severn with strong undercurrents. There is wooden fencing that seperates the garden from the riverbank but the spacing between the rails is large enough for a toddler to squeeze through. I can see how Safety Concious Parents with young children could need 10 pairs of eyes :-)

“Beautiful Location”

We spent a wonderful short break here to celebrate our son's 40th Birthday. A fantastic time was had by all. 3 couples dog and 6 month baby Grandson. With the rest of our family staying close by. Kim and Alistair were helpful from the start of booking to meeting us at the cabin and kindly letting the rest of the family visit,, so we could all celebrate together. The cabin is fantastic, beautifully decorated exceptionally clean, cot and high chair available. Lovely bedding and thick towels.
. The cabin is located on the river so fishing was enjoyed by a few of the men who managed to catch a barbel, whilst the dog enjoyed swimming in the river, much to their annoyance. The last evening was spent sat outside, BBQ and a few glasses of wine whilst enjoying the beautiful surroundings. We would like to thank Kim and Alastair. We thoroughly enjoyed the tranquility around this beautiful cabin.A little word of warning to anyone with toddlers. The gaps in the fence above the river are wide enough for a little one to squeeze through.

we arrived on 2/5/2015 to be greeted by the owner of this excellent holiday let who gave us a guided tour of the property and gave info about local shops and places to eat, also told us any problems don't hesitate to contact her. there were 6 adults in our party, after unpacking and getting over the beautiful interior and exterior of the let we discovered a bottle of preseco from the owners which the ladies enjoyed very much also a packet of bread mix for the bread maker which we all enjoyed.very nice touches.very clean .excelant heating and hot water system, just as well seeing as there were 3 women.plenty of extra pillows and towels.
the views are fantastic from the rear of this let,you look out onto the river with 2 platforms right on the edge of river, ideal for fishing,in season of course.we stood most evenings on the decking out back watching the local wildlife, which included horses, bats, foxes.swans and ducks and even resident geese further up the lane.the railway track above has steam trains running throughout the day and its great when they toot the steam whistles.
overall this is an amazingly relaxing holiday with fantastic surroundings and wildlife..would highly reccomend this holiday let, absolutely 5 stars

Just returned from a 2 night stay here, completely wowed on arrival by the picturesque setting right on the river severn. Absolutely beautiful cabin that as been decorated to a very high standard and very well equipped. A warm welcome by the owner Kim who left a very thoughtful welcome pack. Plenty to do in the local area and will definately be returning and will highly recommend to all family and friends.

“Wonderfully spacious and well equipped”

We stayed at Roundstone View for three nights at the end of March / beginning of April (and soon began to wish we were staying longer). We received a warm welcome from Kim, who has clearly put a lot of thought and love into making this property really attractive, homely and comfortable, and then began to explore.
The main living space is light, welcoming and spacious, and the bedrooms being positioned off this central space at opposite sides made it very comfortable for three generations of the family to share. The master bedroom is simply stunning, and the décor and finishing touches in the other two double bedrooms (the lovely chairs in ours, for example, and the fairy lights in my daughter's) made them rather special too.
The kitchen is well stocked with all manner of utensils and cookware, and there's more in the utility, including a breadmaker (and a packet of bread mix among the lovely goodies Kim had left for us).
There is a great array of DVDs, games, books and cuddly toys already in the property.
The decking area overlooking the river is lovely, and we would have loved to sit out there for breakfast had the weather been as warm as it is one week later!
I would definitely recommend catching the steam train from what feels like your very own platform at Northwood Holt, just across the long narrow road from the land on which Roundstone View is situated.
It's also worth knowing that entry to the safari park just 5 minutes away includes a return visit, so we had a second drive through the next day with a change of driver.
Bewdley itself was a lovely town, and the Hop Pole was a particularly good place to eat.
All in all, we had a brilliant stay, and hope to return.
