Myself and a friend had been to a beer festival all afternoon and needed a curry and the trimmings to sate our appetite. Being an off the cuff visit we hadn't booked but were welcomed by a friendly waiter and shown to a table, we ordered more beers and popadoms accompanied by some great chutneys.
These were soon followed up by our tasty main courses of lamb vindaloo with rice and naan. The waiters were obviously busy but were very attentive and polite.
We enjoyed our food and atmosphere of the sultan and wouldn't hesitate to recommend and will enjoy a return visit in the future

My fantastic Indian local, which I always recommend to everyone. The owner could not be nicer or more accommodating and his staff. The food is always superb and I always feel great the next morning and remember the delicious meal from the night before.

As expected the bar prices are a bit expensive but the food is great. A nice family evening out, and the staff are polite and friendly and not intrusive.. and let us just get on with the meal.

After reading the reviews we though we would give it a try, big mistake. Chicken tikka tough and tasted like grilled chicken with some fried onion on top, and no sauce, onion bhajis bland, chicken rogan and chicken dupiaza very bland and some chicken tough. Best part the rice. The REFA Tandoori is heads and shoulders above this. Give it a try

Had takeaway on Easter Sunday after eating here before and can only be described as disappointing. Both our naans tasted plain even though they were meant to be 2 separate flavours. Our dish was meant to medium spiced and was quite frankly plain. The 'breaded' garlic mushrooms were battered not breaded and were soggy and inedible. One of us enjoyed the biriani but the rest was a real let down. A shame as we have had such lovely meals here before!
