“A wonderful apartment with great views.”
Reviewed 8 July 2018 for a stay in July 2018

Loved our stay in this comfortable light and airy apartment with views over Hebden and the canal. A modern apartment in a historic building - wonderful. Good for tall people too - one of our party was 6'4" and he didn't hit his head once!
Only a short walk to the town centre with a surprising number of restaurants and cafes for a small town - many gluten free and vegetarian.
Super location for walking - we didn't need the car all week.
Many thanks to Charlotte for making our stay memorable - and thank you for the comprehensive Welcome Pack.

“Stylish, steep, sensational views”
Reviewed 15 April 2018 for a stay in March 2018

Attractively decorated in modern practical style. Fantastic views of Hebden Bridge and the hills in the distance. Situated on steep road where it was surprisingly easy to park but quite tiring to climb, particularly after a couple of pints. Very close to town centre. Charlotte, the owner, very helpful and responsive. Things I'd maybe think about: TV on smallish side (the kids I was with not used to TV that size), lighting in living room and kitchen either very bright ceiling lights or three quite small table lamps, putting hooks on bathroom doors, installation of washing machine for longer stays.

Thank you so much for your wonderful review. I'm sorry parking was an issue, one of the downsides of living on a hill! I'm glad the view was compensation! I'm so pleased you enjoyed the area it sounds like you packed a lot in. It was a pleasure to host you and your family and I would be delighted to have you back anytime. Best wishes Charlotte

“Five star property with first class service”
Reviewed 4 January 2018 for a stay in December 2017

The property was delightful. Equivalent to a five start hotel and spotlessly clean.

The rooms were large and as it was Christmas the owner had decorated it very festively.

Overall a superb property and worth every penny.

The owner was responsive and very helpful.

“Wonderful apartment!”
Reviewed 6 November 2017 for a stay in October 2017

A friend and I stayed here for 3 nights at the start of November. On arrival it was nice surprise to see that Charlotte had provided a basket containing bread, biscuits and crisps. Also provided was tea, coffee, milk, orange juice, butter and jam. There was even some beer in the fridge which was very welcome. It saved us a trip to the shops and was very thoughtful. Both bedrooms were very very comfortable and as there was only two of us we had a bathroom each. A very well equipped kitchen and a comfortable lounge completed the picture. There was everything we needed. There was also a fantastic view of the town from the Juliet balcony in the lounge. The centre of town is only 2 minutes walk away. Lots of great shops, pubs and restaurants right on our doorstep. I'm hoping to return with my wife next time as I know she would absolutely love it. Thanks very much Charlotte for a great stay.
