We chose this place based on price, reputation of Marriott and proximity to Sesame Place. We booked 2 rooms - a 2BR Suite and a 1BR Suite. 4 adults, 1 teenager and a 3-year old in our group. Our days of stay were Thurs - Sat. in July. Upon arrival, checking in, and unpacking the vehicle, one of our room doors was not operational and it had to be kicked in by a maintenance worker - after several attempts by ourselves and management. Needless to say, both rooms had to be relocated as we wanted to be close together. The grounds are well kept and the buildings are in good shape. It resembles an apartment complex. While waiting for the new rooms assignment, several of the workers were walking by us and one 'Katiyah' goes into this profane rant - cursing like it was her native language. Luckily my grandson was asleep. It was difficult not to miss our presence as our bags were still on the sidewalk and I was sitting in vehicle's passenger side with the door was open and my daughter and cousin were standing on the sidewalk. I don't think she cared. We were reassigned. The rooms are very spacious and well-appointed. Almost like garage apartments. We were all assigned 2nd floor units, which I prefer, but as an fyi, there are no elevators. The 2BR Suite has 2 bedrooms with bathrooms en suite, a living quarter with pull-out sofa and a full-kitchen. Great layout and very comfortable. Overall, very nice and clean except for the hair I found on the soap holder in the shower - a pet peeve about hair left in the shower. Yuck! And we didn't find the remote for the tv in the living room until our last day. Another sister met us here and slept on our pull-out, which by the way, still had the linens from a previous stay on them - it had not been changed. We stripped it, used a second set that was in our closet to make it up. Upon folding the bed the following morning, I located the remote under the sofa. The person whose card was left in our room as having cleaned the room 'Katiyah'. Perhaps she was having a bad day, week... whatever. Someone may need to check behind her and offer some guidance. Our previous experiences with Marriott have been wonderful. Have stayed in several Residence Inns because of the home-like set-up and quality service. Mark, in the lounge was great and so was Vivian at the desk. I would give this place a second chance. And it's about 12 minutes from Sesame Place which is doable. Don't particularly like all those tolls, but we have an ezpass, so... If going to Sesame Place again, I'd probably try to get closer since most of the places we ate were also near the park. Free wi-fi, free parking, an outdoor pool, grills, basketball courts (which we utilized), a snack room, comp coffee and tea and free breakfast. A tight space getting the food if there are a lot of people and not a large amount of seating, but you can take the food to your room if you prefer. You just have to walk outside as the lobby/lounge is not connected to the rooms as in a conventional hotel. Hope this helps someone.
