It was exactly what my husband and I long for; nature, solitude, and peace. It is an incredible experience getting to know Tom and Carol Holmes and to be in the midst of all Toms artistic creations. There is a great spiritual energy there. It's cozy and quaintly nestled in the woods. The hot tub and sauna are a treat and the wooden walkways are beautiful. Looking forward to returning in the Spring and to enjoy the outdoor kitchen. Not to say we couldn't have used it while visiting in the winter, we just didn't plan for it.
The natural surroundings and sites are bountiful!
Thank you Tom and Carol.

My boyfriend and I loved this cabin ! We immediately felt welcomed as the owner Carol greeted us (we met Tom the next day) She recommended a few places to eat and hike. They are both very sweet people and give you as much privacy as you want.
The cabin itself is tiny yet so soo cozy with the fireplace inside. Even the bathroom was impressive with the heated floor. Anything you could possibly need is within a half hour away. Food store , trails, restaurants are all near by. My boyfriend and I thankfully had time to get a massage at Apple a day spa which was about 20 minutes away ( I recommend it ! )
We plan on coming back next year since we enjoyed it so much ! Thanks Tom and Carol !

Art Cabin in the Woods is a lovely place to spend time away from work and the hustle of life. The cabin is cozy and warm with a roaring fire plus 2 heaters. The bathroom is warm. The distance between the cabin and bathroom is perfect.
We had a wonderful time and the cabin is beautiful , the Art work outside is creative and interesting. We cooked in the outside kitchen area but ate in the cabin, we did bring a small table that fit nicely inside and ate by the fire.
The chickens and ducks are very friendly. They come to the door in the morning.
The owners Tom and Carol are wonderful people. They were spot on with where to eat..Peters and what to do and see. We went to Promised Land and Bruce Lake Trail to run and Milford.

Just take food, you wont need anything else. The ART is the part I cant get over. I cant wait to go back. Why are the chickens so friendly?, Hahahahah!, everything was perfect. OMG! the hot tub and SAUNA - you must try it... even if its cold and raining outside.
