After discovering that our apartment did not have a welcome book, we asked for assistance to obtain one. At first we were told that they were taken our of the rooms a year ago because parents let their children color in them. I have been a Wyndham owner for over 23 years and have never seen one crayon mark. Al of the pages were always in document protectors. The second time we asked at the reception desk we were told that we could receive one only if we sat through a sales pitch. We have all of the points we want and are "Time-Share Poor" so we don't want to waste their time or ours. So in essence the welcome books which always explained the facilities and local interest are being held ransom for a salesman to pressure us into buying more shares we do not want and can not afford.
