Chow is a wonderful local gem. The food and staff are excellent. They have daily specials that are always good. A favorite on the menu is shrimp and grits. Any time they make a short rib meal it is excellent. The fish tacos are always a go to also. This is a BYOB which is always a + for us. The noise level can be quite high at different times. They have done some things to help with it but it is just something to be aware of.

Visited Chow Bistro with friends during a Holiday House Tour. Lunch was great, menu was varied. We all got the crab cakes which we're delicious, I would say larger and better that a local "big restaurant " has.

We had a delicious lunch at Chow. The butternut squash soup was very good and the Kale Salad was great! Others had the Thai rice and veggie dish; said it was good, but could use more sauce.
We had the Flourless chocolate dessert and the strawberry dessert with creme and pastry; both delicious.
I would recommend this restaurant and I will go back again!

Although this is only 10 minutes from our house it was just one of those places that we thought "we had to try" but just never did. Finally last week I thought it was time and made a reservation for Friday evening. We were taken by such complete surprise I can't even describe. Everything from the delicious homemade salad dressings to the creme brulee for dessert was outstanding! We love BYOB's but sometimes have accepted the trade off from fine dining but this is NOT THE CASE AT CHOW. We ordered the crab fritters for an appetizer and were among the best we've ever tasted. Dinner entrees were Crab stuffed lobster tail which my husband swears was the best he's ever eaten to my Seafood Fra Diavolo. I'm fairly particular about that dish and this was outstanding. It may have taken us a while to actually try it out but we will be back! (soon) lol!

Great food. Not yer average meat & potatoes dive. Imaginative creations. Good service. BYOB. Plenty of free parking in the rear. This place could be a candidate for 5 stars if it weren't for the jet engine noise level. This is not the fault of the restaurant; it's a shame that so many people have no consideration for the comfort of others. And, as our server said, the more alcohol they drink, the louder they get.

We have been working on the noise problem since day one. Believe it or not it is actually much improved. Usually the only night it gets very loud is on Saturday but it depends on the crowd some times it can be less noise. We are currently looking into noise reduction panels to put on the ceiling. Thanks for coming and we are sorry it was so loud for you. Sunday, Tuesday, or Wednesday evenings are usually the quietest. Chef Guy
