This was the best deal in Tillamook during a busy summer weekend when almost all rooms in town are booked. Property was as expected being a bit run down with minimal amenities. The room was decent and other than the carpet was clean with everything in working order. Bathroom fixtures due for replacement but again everything worked. The bed was comfortable and the AC worked during an unusually warm weekend on the coast.

The staff is very friendly and accommodating. If you need a place to stay while adventuring on the Oregon coast and don't want to spend a lot the Western Royal will work. If you are looking for a place to hang and have some leisure time there is probably better options.

Nice place. I sprained my ankle and needed a place to stay. I ended up staying 2 nights. Very kind and helpful people. I never used the 24 hour laundry facilities. You have a couple of different places to eat one inside parking lot, one across the street and one just around the building. I know the Chinese place delivers right to your room. This place was clean, and a good valu for the money. You get a refrigerator and microwave in room.

The rooms are dated but clean. The beds need new mattresses so they are not very comfortable. The continental breakfast is adequate, what we expected from an economy motel. I would consider this an average motel except for the noise. It is located on the highway running through town and the outside walkways are very noisy when anyone walks by. It is one of the less expensive motels in the area so you get what you pay for.

This hotel does not have a current photograph up of the exterior so add 20 years to it and there ya have it. That does not mean however that the place is not worthy of a nights stay. It is. Great value for the price and you get to meet a friendly and helpful staff. The rooms are out dated but the beds are comfortable and the place is clean. Breakfast is standard fare, bread, oatmeal, cereal, coffee juice and milk. Not fancy, just basic good.

Room tip: wooden structure so you know where your upstairs neighbor is at all times when they are there

Located on the main through route to Tilamook, the staff make this place. The Mexican eatery opposite makes a stay here a very pleasant experience. Breakfast is simple, do not expect any great surprises and you will be fine.
