We were out on the beach and when we left, we walked along the Promenade toward our downtown hotel, and ended up in front of Maggie's just by chance. Boy was this our lucky day! We had been hoping to get away from the frantic bustle of Broadway Street with all the tourist traffic places to eat and Maggie's is that place. With a classy beachfront feel, this was by far our favorite place to eat in Seaside! There is a nice outdoor patio facing the beach, but it was a cool windy day, so we ate inside. They have a full bar, and handled making my wife and I a couple of great Negroni cocktails. If you find a bar that can make those in a small town, you know you've struck gold. We decided to split the roasted beet salad, and it was huge, so that was a perfect starter. I had the salmon and mushroom ravioli and she had oyster shooters with a smoked salmon Caesar for dinner, and all we're large portions and super delicious. Our waiter was a Lithuanian exchange student and he did a great job of being attentive without hovering, and was very friendly. Our table near the front window gave us a good view of the beach and promenade. We had a superb dinner and a great time. Prices are moderate toward the higher side, but you get what you pay for!
