The pastrami is from NJ, the portions are huge and the big city quality is there. Amazing little hole in the wall serves up some of the best food on this I-5 stretch. Had a combo #1 that required both hands to force into submission. Service is great especially if you get a banter going with the front of the house. Highly recommended!

I stopped by Little Jean's Cafe in search of lunch and was pleasantly surprised. The patty melt was on par with any NYC sandwich. My girlfriend had a veggie sandwich with sprouts, and it was delicious too. The fries and grape Crush were also good and served in a casual but efficient manner. If you are a fan of authentic east-coast sandwiches, run to Little Jean's. Mmmmmmmmmm.

Were you ever in New York and had a Pastrami Sandwich at the Famous Delicatessen Katz's? Well, I tell you one better. There is a tiny Lunch Place called Little Jean's in Roseburg, Oregon! My friends and I go there a lot for Lunch. His Reuben Sandwiches beat the hell out of Katz's! Your mouth is not big enough to take a bit out of that huge, high piled Reuben! You can also order a Adolph, its a Sandwich with out Sauerkraut, it has caramelized onions on it and other goodies! There is a menu on the wall, you have the choice to order other Luncheon Specials! I will NOT tell you where the ownner buys his meat from, it's flown into Eugene from another big city!Little Jean's gets advertised from mouth to mouth, he doesn't need to pay big advertising fees! Don't let the tiny space of the restaurant fool you! Little Jean's is a Giant in Culinary Luncheon Taste! Try it !

The food here is always fresh, never skimpy, touch of class! Traveled all 50 states, this one is a top 10! Husband and wife team that works well and always delivers! Large sandwiches, BTW share the pastrami, you most likely will be able to eat the typical Wed Bon-Mi special, but will be totally stuffed with the patty melt (handmade). Enjoy, well worth the price!

Had a great rueben sandwich ... pastrami was tasty and extra tender served on marble rye bread. Fries were crisp and excellent. Would definitely recommend. This is a very small restaurant and was pretty busy on day we visited. A hidden gem!
