“A great place in Portland. The country in the city!”

We absolutely loved staying at this charming house. It was clean, spacious, and comfortable. Sally provided us with a stocked kitchen, and said anything in the fridge was fair game. How generous is that! The kitchen had a great antique stove, and the antiques and art in the rest of the house were pretty cool. The garden behind the house was a rustic delight, and the hot tub was great after a day of biking around Portland.

As described, the house is not super accessible to public transportation, but certainly doable if that is your preference. We used our car and our bikes to get around, and Sally allowed us to use her bike as well.

If you want to stay in Portland but want to be in a quiet spot, the Farmhouse Cottage is definitely a great way to go.
