Mothers is awesome! Great food, great quality, great staff! We went every chance we had on a recent trip to Portland. If you're going for breakfast (even during the week), you might want to make a reservation. Highly reccommend the biscuits with gravy..:)

Arrived just before 5:00-rock star parking again. Our pick of seating in the bar, a cozy booth. our group of four had a blast eating and drinking on the happy hour menu. Matzo ball soup all around, Caesar salads, fries with aoaoli sauce, fried ravioli. Beers, hot buttered rum and pear ginger cosmos, every single thing was perfect. Friendly bartender and waiter were great and kept it coming, clearing away the detritus as we chowed through every crumb!

Huge menu sure to have something for everyone. Fantastic coffee! I tried the Mother's biscuits and gravy which was very good and with a generous portion. Attentive service. The space makes you feel like you're in a turn of the century restaurant. Well worth a visit.

Great food, good service and a little on the expensive side for breakfast. During the week go early to get a table for the lunch rush it can get very busy.
