Description: Andina draws inspiration from the native culinary traditions of Peru, as well as from the contemporary cooking by some of Peru’s leading chefs. Owner Doris Rodriguez de Platt, collaborates with Andina’s kitchen team to develop a menu that celebrates her family’s Andean roots, interweaving the ideas and techniques of both Criollo and Novo-Andean cuisines. The kitchen sources native and local ingredients to create dishes at once traditionally rooted and personally inspired. Founded in 2003, Andina emerged as one of the region’s leading Peruvian restaurants and continues to generate wide appeal within the food communities in and around Portland, and much further afield.

Unique place I like to take friends from out of town. Wonderful small and medium plates and a full vegan menu for my Goddaughter. Love it! Always great service.

Our dinner at Andina on NewYear's Eve was incredible! The food was excellent, and the ambiance was very festive. It was a wonderful evening. Make reservations for any weekend night in advance because lines get long!

The food was just ok this time, The server was helpful but not so accommodating for special requests. We shared plates and the portions were generous.

The food here is varied, presented well and tasty, but the service leaves others behind. The customer-to-staffing ratio is such that we never need ask for anything; there is always someone nearby anticipating our wishes.
It can be a challenge to get a reservation for dinner, but the bar opens earlier and has terrific small plates and drinks. (Their roasted ginger, rum and grapefruit is my favorite!)
