“Overpriced, skimpy portions, overcooked pasta, lukewarm food, blah flavors, all in all a disappointing meal”

There were six of us, celebrating one person's birthday. The food was disappointing on almost every count (three pasta dishes and 2 bouillabaisses); only the hamburger was a success.

The service was fine, no complaints there.

Two of us have been coming here for years. We may give it another try before we decide to not go back.

15 of us celebrated my dad's birthday in a private dining room and we had a great time. Our server Hailey was charming, efficient, and accommodating. Everyone in our group loved the atmosphere and the food. Sara was easy to work with and helped with the planning. My niece said that the frisée salad with crab was the most delicious salad she has ever eaten. I would definitely recommend Serratto for a small party.

We had an excellent birthday dinner at Serratto. We went early on a Monday evening and were served quickly with excellent service. The pommes frites with garlic aioli were a delicious starter. The linguini with clams was excellent. The clams were very fresh. It is very nice that they have an option for a smaller portion of the pastas. The radiatore with pork and lamb bolognese was delicious. They have a nice selection of wines by the glass. The desserts were delicious as well. The tables are not spaced tightly which is very nice and contributes to a low noise level. This was one of our favorite meals in Portland.

Two dining experiences within a week. The first evening, I was solo and indulged in the caesar salad and margherita pizza. Perfectly seasoned, outstanding pizza crust and good service. It was clear that this is a favorite among locals, as many of the servers greeted diners by name. The second evening, I met a friend, and we both had the duck confit, which was quite rich, as expected, but also a tad over seasoned. The creme brulee was outstanding.
