Your tastebuds will EXPLODE from the combinations of flavors offered up by the chefs at Revelry. We sat at the bar, which was fun and allowed us a view into the kitchen. Don’t skip the fried chicken appetizer and if they have a dumpling one, get it, too. I had the Dan Dan noodles, which were excellent, but the Dungeness crab and seaweed noodle dish my husband ordered stole the show. Unreal! Sipped on the gin and hibiscus cocktail throughout the meal (can’t remember the name) which was fantastic. Highly recommend this place.

Had dinner here last night with my wife and some friends, had a craving for Korean so we decided to try this place and we were not disappointed, I had the blackened tuna that came with koi string bean cured yolk and zucchini.
My wife had seaweed noodle and that came Dungeness crab red curry, and creme fraiche.
Our fiends had both had the same Szechuan Dan-Dan noodles.
The appetizer was Korean fried chicken with peanut bridle WOW.
Highly recommend good cocktails good food how can you go wrong.

This place is a find in the restaurant scene of Portland. The place has a DJ spinning music that adds a fun element. I have dined here thrice over the past year and what I have noticed that its very consistent. Menu isn't too broad but what they offer is spot on. Our favourite from the appetizers is the fried chicken which is crunchy on the outside and soft inside, the batter is well seasoned, the peanut brittle adds a sweet crunch too. Last year they had a jackfruit savoury pancake that was outstanding, recently we tried the chile verde pancake which was good too.
Amongst the noodles we tried the Dan Dan noodles and Seaweed noodle with dungeness crab. The pork in the Dan dan noodles was perfectly spiced and tender, the flavours of the seaweed and crab worked together very well.
In the rice bowl selection we tried the fried cauliflower with chick pea masala, the flavours were on the money, not too overdone.
The dessert was a chocolate souffle and very delicious too.
The food is served with three sauces and they complement the dishes very well.
The service is very friendly and welcoming; two months ago we were there with friends who had brought their kids along. We asked them whether kids were allowed, to which they said yes but not past 9 or 10 pm, I cannot remember the exact time. We were done before that time so it worked out perfectly. But it will be better for people with kids to check whether the rules have changed.
We have never been disappointed here and in spite of the short menu its a winner.

It is hard to classify the food at Revelry but everything is imaginative and tasty. We started with their fish and chips-a sweet fish sauce/honey mixture on potato chips. Salty and sweet. The fried chicken are delicious nuggets coated with a spicy Korean miso sauce and dusted with crushed peanut brittle! The eggplant salad is marinated and includes pieces of orange and slivers of orange rind. Very tasty. The rice cakes with beef and veggies are small slices of mochi that have been fried so they are crispy outside and chewy inside. There is a brown gravy, chunks of beef and Chinese broccoli. Yum! Dan Dan noodles are homemade and very tasty. We also have dessert- their buttermilk pudding with pickled persimmons and candied honeycomb! What a fantastic end to the meal! It is a noisy bar so be prepared for the DJ music and bar atmosphere. Friendly staff!
