My wife and I came in February with our newborn to get some solitude and fresh ocean air during the end of our famlily medical leave. We found the cabin fairly easily and it is indeed very cute and cozy. What really stood out is that it was filled with every amenity you can think of and more. The washer/dryer worked great with all the newborn spit ups on our clothes. The kitchen was quite stocked with every little thing from sugar and flour to cooking oil. The view onto the ocean and rocks was simply gorgeous and mesmerizing. We absolutely loved the wood fireplace and the adjacent shed had plenty of firewood. There was a television and DVD player PLUS an extensive library of movies to watch. The internet was speedy and there is a complimentary home phone to use. The town itself is small but with great charm. The only downside is there's no cell phone reception in the town (and the house), but that added to our much needed solitary respite.
There are some nice restaurants in nearby Netarts with very tasty local seafood.
My wife and I will always remember this place fondly. I can still hear the crackling fireplace and ocean waves...More
