Discovered Noodle Cafe on our most recent trip to Newport. What a great find. The food is terrific and the tiny cafe sits right on the water. We started with Steamed Oysters, which we were warned took time to prepare, but were well worth the wait. They were served in a yummy black bean, garlic and ginger sauce and came with a slightly sweet homemade noodle bread. We followed that with both the "Jung Bong" Spice Seafood Broth and the House Special Wok-Tossed Udon. Both soups were loaded with seafood, vegetables and tasty homemade noodles. The broths were each interesting and flavorful. Our table had a great view of the Bay and bridge. Service was excellent and prices very reasonable. It was obvious there is a lot of pride in what Noodle Cafe serves. We will definitely go back.
