Attentive staff.
Safe and comfortable surroundings.
Clean and asthetically pleasing rooms of adequate size.
Bed a little firm for my taste.
Breakfast bar features no hot food, with the exception of oatmeal, likely due to in room kitchenettes.
There is access to a local restaraunt delivery service.

The outdoor pool is nice, especially on a hot summer's day. Our king bed room was smaller than expected for a room with a kitchenette, we were crammed in fairly snugly with our son. If you have noisy groups near your room, you will hear them from the hallway into your room. The hotel is near the highway, so it's easy to get on your way for the rest of your trip. The free breakfast is good, and we recommend "Porter's restaurant" for dinner (wow!)

At this hotel you are basically staked out in a parking lot. There is a smoking area near the locking guest door with smokers relaxing there - making for a less than appealing entry. There is also a barbecue which seems strangely located, especially when a large group makes it their camp. The breakfast room is teeny- the smallest I've ever seen and has a limited assortment of items. Quite poor compared to other Marriott budget hotels. It is best to forage and go back to your room to eat. There are restaurants a mile or so away. The rooms have kitchens stocked with dishes and cookware and a refrigerator which is nice. The rooms a very cozy in size but serviceable if you don't mind a less than cushy bed. The hotel is newer so is in good condition and is clean enough. The road outside is quite loud at night. We had a very low rate of $79 which made it worthwhile to stay here as we spent little time in the room. The Harry and David factory store is quite near if that is your interest.

Family with two small kids (7 and 4) on a road trip north stayed here for two nights in a two bedroom suite. Overall, it’s a very good value stay. The suite is on the small side (why do they put bedding for four but only three seats at the table?) and is in good condition. Kitchen had all the necessary equipment to cook although you will be fighting for space with people walking around.

It's a real case of you get what you pay for and as long as you have those expectations then you will be fine. Alas, perhaps because of the good value, we didn't sleep well either night. The first night the hotel was full of a travelling school sports team and the place was like a dorm - kids running up and down the hallways, banging doors, talking etc... Complaints to reception met with a response of "Yes, this is what normally happens" suggesting that perhaps it’s a popular stay for school groups. Things didn't settle down until 10-11 pm. Staff on hand were understanding but ill-equipped it seemed to put a stop to the problem. On the second night most, but not all, of the kids had left. It was quieter but we still had a dozen kids playing football in the carpark right under our bedroom window at 10 pm.

Finally, the breakfast is pretty ordinary and in a space WAY too small for the hotel (expect to stand) and our oven hadn't been cleaned so when we heated it to cook with, smoke came out and stunk up the suite for the rest of the stay.

Great value, but I would have paid more for a quieter stay.

This motel is set up for business travelers who need a place to stay for a few days. The rooms all include small kitchens and an efficient computer workspace. Internet access was excellent, and breakfast just fine. For the price of an ordinary motel room, it’s remarkably nice. The only drawback was noise. It may not be a problem elsewhere in the hotel, but our room was noisy. It sounded like a ventilation motor or a refrigeration unit was attached to the shared wall in an adjoining utility room. We mostly got used to the noise and slept just fine, but over time it would drive me crazy. Check in was fast and efficient but not particularly friendly.
