The rooms were great, comfortable beds. We had access to two bathrooms, a pool table, and a kitchen. The view was great of the ocean from the downstairs, even better from upstairs. Breakfast was amazing. Herman pancake breakfast was delicious. Shirley(host) is the sweetest host you could ever ask for.

We spent a week here while on vacation. Our room was comfortable and quiet, and Shirley provided extra coffee every morning to help fill the quiet time before breakfast.
Shirley is an excellent hostess who takes the time to double-check every aspect of one's stay, from details of one's breakfast order to confirming the suitability of the bed linens.
Ours was a truly memorable stay.
Great view of ocean from the Sun Room and wonderful breakfast prepared by innkeeper, Shirley. Comfortable bed with nice linens. Large bathroom with small shower. Very much a cozy beach house. Breakfast was served in the dining area overlooking the Pacific. Shirley prepared German pancakes that were delicious. Lots of toppings to try. Sausage, fresh fruit, coffee, and juice completed the meal.
We have stayed at Brey House several times since 2007 and have always enjoyed our stay. Shirley makes us feel right at home, and the rooms are cozy. If you are looking for the latest and shiniest update in your room, this might not be the right fit for you - but for the price, proximity to the ocean, and warmth of the innkeeper, this is a win/win for us.
There is a lovely hot tub in the back, and beach access is across the street. Chinook Winds Casino is a mere half-mile away, and the neighborhood is quiet. We look forward to our next return!
Shirley is awesome. Our third floor room had a lovely ocean view, and total privacy, as we were alone upstairs. Great central location for visiting the area, and convenient to Portland airport. Breakfast was wonderful, raspberry butter (homemade) to die for. This inn will be our go-to on the Oregon coast! Quirky, original and fun!
It's been several years since we stayed with Shirley. This time we put in our reservations early for the Captain's suite and got it for our visit to Lincoln City. All of the rooms are pleasant and well-decorated, but the Captain's suite is the best choice if it's available. Large King bed, sitting area with TV, open bath and shower area--all the comforts of home while on vacation. And then there's the ocean view, just two blocks away. Breakfast, as usual, was a wonderful treat, with that same gorgeous ocean view that could have you sitting there all day looking for whales. Thanks, Shirley, for another wonderful treat!
