Set perfectly in wine country, this 100+ year old store has inviting charm and a rich history. The area is no longer a "neighborhood" but this was a once a hub of activity for this rural section of Hillsboro. The building leans from a massive windstorm that struck the Portland area in the 1960's. Stop by for coffee, pastries, muffins, just to see the place. Or have some lunch while on break from your roadtrip. We had a rich tomato soup that was served with a fantastic hunk of foccacia and a wondeful veggie sandwich (cream cheese, yams, peppers and more) with chips and some peanut butter cookies. They serve local products, offer gluten-free breads and have a nice selections of teas and Italian sodas. Fun place!
