This is by far the best buffet we’ve been to in a long time. The food was delicious, variety was wide, desserts fantastic and food was served hot and deliciously prepared. Highly recommend.
The only thing we didn’t care for was our server, Ed. After he took my husbands drink order we never saw him again. I did observe another server named Mary who was very friendly and very efficient at her job. She was so kind to get me a water& a soda. The bus people were also very efficient. Will certainly eat here again.

We have been going to the Cedar Plank Buffet for almost 5 years. We have tried many of the Casino Buffets in Oregon and Washington...some come close but None are as delicious and varied as the one here at Spirit Mountain. We just keep coming back for more.

We used to go to the buffet at Spirit Mountain Casino on the way back from the beach. It was a very good price at about $11 for dinner, so we took the kids. Then, all of a sudden, it jumped up to $19 per person so it was out of our reach for a family thing. So we didn't go back until now.

Turns out now the lunch M-Sat is $10.95 which is very reasonable for a HUGE buffet set up. There is a great variety of items to choose from, including Seafood, American, Carvery, Asian, Pizza, large salad bar, and an amazing assortment of desserts.

Everything was good, especially the ribs and cod and bay shrimp casserole. Most things were OK including the shrimp, pulled pork, pot stickers, stir fried vegetables and fry bread. Nothing was spectacular, deserving of going there just to try that. However, the desserts were pretty amazing, including the pecan pie, pumpkin bread, and cheesecakes, and all the mini-pies including pumpkin, banana and coconut cream. And lots of types of ice cream.

Our server at the table was friendly and attentive. Most of the ones taking people to tables looked like they were bored to death and couldn't muster a smile. But the place was pretty busy so they were probably tired.

So if you want to really pig out (and we saw a whole lot of people doing that!) it's a good place for lunch on the way to and from the beach. Dinner is still pretty expensive, especially the Seafood buffet at $24.95! But if you've made a lot of money at the casino, go ahead and splurge!

Took my wife to Spirit Mountain Casino for the afternoon. Started of by going to the lunch buffet on a Saturday. We had heard good things so we were anticipating a wide variety of tasty items. Usually the food is extremely salty/seasoned, but what we found was uninspired, bland food. Certainly not what we expected. The variety is not bad for the size of the buffet but it isn't huge either. Not sure there are many alternatives in the area. I would recommend the Emerald Queen Casino in Tacoma, WA, if you are up that way. Really wanted to give it 2.5 stars but the staff is very friendly so that made up some for the poor food.
