Very nice B and B, close to Peace Health Medical Center and U of O. The rooms are very small, but quaint. Breakfast is included and was good. Parking is difficult, but the staff does their best to accommodate issues- there is an additional lot nearby. There is not any outdoor garden space. Staff is friendly, but sparse. It is unusual to see staff around the hotel- they are usually working in the restaurant, but are willing to help if you go get them. My only complaint is that the housekeeping services are poor. After my room was cleaned, there was dust on the floor, the tub and sink were not cleaned, and my garbage was not emptied. When I notified the manager, the room was much cleaner the next day. The manager is very personable and friendly.

Our stay at Excelsior gave us a central location to explore the surrounding area. It is tucked in behind the Excelsior Restaurant right off the Oregon Campus. The European vibe is very comfortable and welcoming. The three story inn includes a beverage station on the second floor for coffee and tea. Breakfast is served in the bar via a coupon provided at check in. We had a free desert after having dinner in the fine dining section of the restaurant. Staff is very helpful.

This is a small inn that has everything you could possibly need and/or want.
Each room is themed, and named after a classical musician - Beethoven, Vivaldi, Bach.
Rooms are always clean and staff is so helpful. There is free wifi as well.
It is located just a few blocks from UofO campus so you can walk everywhere. There are a lot of food options nearby, but honestly you don't need to go anywhere as they have a restaurant attached that serves farm to table amazing food. The restaurant has a formal side (think white linen tablecloths), a bistro area with a full bar, along with an outside courtyard that makes you feel as if you are not in downtown Eugene.
You get a voucher for free dessert if you eat dinner in their restaurant - and their desserts are spectacular.
Breakfast is included with your stay and you order off of their menu - their specials are phenomenal.
I absolutely love Excelsior. Just an amazing gem in a perfect location.

The bed was very comfortable, but up high so for my short self I had to jump on and off. The Robes were in bathroom, clean and the restroom was very cute. Small amenities offered. Our room faces the street but there were shades to pull down. No noise at night that we could hear. Breakfast downstairs in their farm to table restaurant was delicious! Will stay here again!

The Excelsior Inn was the perfect place to stay after a concert at MKA!
Breakfast was included, and lovely. Comfy king bed, great shower, sweet room, and nice dining room, bar, patio! The desserts looked amazing.
We tried to make a res for U of O graduation in 2019, but they're full!! Really!!
