This Holiday Inn Express is being remodeled. We stayed on the finished fourth floor. We had a spacious king-bed room, with mini-fridge. The room has translucent blinds and a blackout curtain. Laundry was free for the washer and drier (you buy or provide soap). There is some parking right by the hotel and more on the first floor of a covered garage with cameras, just across the drive. The location is great for the University (several blocks), a grocery is less than a block away, and it is an easy drive to downtown spots. Breakfast was the standard fare one gets at these hotels, nothing special, but sufficient. There was a higher end coffee shop in the parking lot. Newspapers were provided free (USA Today, Wall Street Journal, or local paper). We did not use the indoor pool or gym.

Room Tip: We faced the steet and did not hear any noise.

We have stayed at this location many times. The hotel is under construction and upgrading this summer starting with the top floor. How fun it was to be assigned one of the newly done 4th floor rooms! The new decor and treatments has a sleek Scandinavian feel and uses the vibrant blue to add impact. The beds are triple sheeted and mattress very comfortable.
The staff is superb; from front desk to housekeeping. The breakfast is dependable and staff keeps the area spotless and well stocked. My husband loves that they have large containers of coffee flavorings☀️ We always appreciate the friendly greetings from the front desk. Nice pool.

The hotel is going through renovations but it didn't impact our stay at all. Our renovated room was lovely, large and very clean. It's a convenient location for the University, with ample parking. And finding the washer and dryer on the fourth floor was a definite bonus as we were in the middle of a 12 day road trip!

Overall nice hotel that was clean and comfortable. Very close to the university of Oregon and within easy walking distance. Parking was problematic and seemed barely sufficient. They were also remodeling the upper floor when we were there but we did not notice it. The staff was pleasant and helpful

We booked the last room at the Holiday Inn Express in Eugene last night during this July 4th weekend. Since we were traveling with our senior parents we needed comfortable and accessible accommodations. Holiday Inn Express delivered! Our Queen Suite was spacious, both beds were comfortable, and we appreciated the coffee maker, larger studio fridge and sitting area with a sofa and large table. The fourth floor was recently remodeled and it showed.
The price was reasonable and the full hot breakfast was the highlight of their stay. Four thumbs up!
