We stayed in the Garden suite for one night as we travelled around Oregon. After two nights in Portland and two nights at the shore with the crowds it was so nice to enjoy the solitude offered by our stay here. We cooked fresh red wheat pasta and olive oil from the gift shop along with a fresh loaf of bread. This paired with the complimentary bottle of Durante Vineyards wine made for a fabulous dinner. Afterwards we enjoyed the remainder of our wine while sitting in the Adirondack chairs that overlook the Vineyard and Mt. Hood. The apartment itself is amazing as they have so many windows to allow you a view from just about anywhere that you stand. We enjoyed fresh ground coffee (coffee and cream were provided) and lavender shortbread cookies (also from the gift shop) for our breakfast on the deck overlooking the lavender fields. This was an awesome place to stay before our vineyard day trip. The staff was so friendly and helpful.

Room Tip: Garden Suite perfect for a couple

I can't think of a better way to enjoy the wine country of Oregon then to be staying at one of two lovely accommodations at Red Ridge Farm and Olive Press, adjacent to Durant Vineyards Tasting Room. The views of the surrounding hills, covered in neat rows of grape vines are fabulous and tranquil and you can literally walk to 4 other tasting rooms in the immediate area. You are also just a short drive from some incredible dining - most of which is "locavore" - fresh from the surrounding farms.

Room Tip: One bedroom apartment over the Olive Press store or a two bedroom cottage - you can't go wrong.

We booked the Garden Suite located above the Red Ridge Farms Gift shop. The suite is a large fully furnished apartment full with its own kitchen, queen sized bed, living room, balcony, private stairwell, parking spot, books and TV. The room is clean and charming with stunning views of their own property / farm.

The staff is very accommodating and even allowed us to check in early, so that we could unwind and refresh before heading out to explore local wineries.

After we got back from our winery tour, the gift shop and farm were closed, so we had a brief opportunity to explore the lush property before the sun set. There are beautiful flowers (roses, lavendar, greens) everywhere and we had such a memorable time. Highly recommend to couples for a beautiful getaway!

Room Tip: The garden suite was so lovely!

We just returned with our couple friends from an eleven day Oregon trip. We spent three nights at Red Ridge in their Stoneyridge Cottage.
First, three nights if you can swing it is perfect, giving you two full days to enjoy the surrounding countryside, wine tasting and maybe a trip to the Evergreen Air and Space museum.
As for the cottage, the location and views from the front porch are absolutely beautiful, with vineyards and the valley in the distance. Also on our second day when the weather cleared up, we had views of both Mount Hood and Mount Jefferson in the distance.
Inside, the cottage was nicely decorated, had a full kitchen and was quite clean. We also had an outside gas BBQ which we used for two of our dinners. I should mention that there is also a full laundry which came in handy since we were well into our trip and had five days to go.
There is on significant issue that is important to know if two couples use the cottage and split the rent. One bedroom is a good size suite with a large bathroom corner tub and walk in shower. The second bedroom is a rather small room without a connected bathroom. For this room, you have to use a rather small bathroom in the hallway which has just a small sink and tub shower. So seeing the significant difference, and the fact that we were splitting the cost evenly, we flipped a coin to see who would get the suite.
As long as you are aware of and OK with that, you should book this cottage for a very nice stay.

Room Tip: This is not a hotel, but a quaint cottage in the middle of a vineyard.

This place is a gem. We stayed in the cottage for almost a week. We found the "cottage" - really a nicely appointed, comfy, two bedroom, two bath house very well equipped. It has a nicely stocked kitchen but you need to supply all the food and cooking supplies except coffee beans, half and half and olive oil - which were all greatly appreciated. We had use of a great Weber gas grill which made cooking so much easier and enjoyable. Hard to resist the wonderful view while grilling. Daily housekeep service was provided between Noon and 2 to freshen the beds, towels and tidy the kitchen. It really was all the comforts of home. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed a tasting at the Durant wine room - the view there is spectacular too. Can't say enough good things about our stay. If our travel plans take us back to Willamette Valley - we will definitely stay at Red Ridge Farm. Highly recommend
