We stayed at the Bandon Inn for two nights. We really liked that we could walk to town so easily and we had such a wonderful view from our room. We had a corner room that was very spacious. The woman who checked us in was very helpful and cheerful.

The only problem was the noise from above. I would suggest staying on the top floor and then you could avoid that problem. The people were not being rude...it was just normal walking around but it was noticeable in our room.

We would definitely stay there again but on the third floor.

Bandon was a place at the end of the afternoon that looked like a good stopover. The Inn is nice with easy walking access to the jetty and dining places. Very nice views overlooking a marina. The complimentary continental breakfast was disappointing.
It was located in the tiny lobby with only a handful of seats, so you had to stand to eat of take the food back to your room. Very little choice on breakfast items. If you want toasted bread, you have to ask, because the toaster was in another room.
The bigger disappointment is with limited restaurants nearby. We were traveling with another couple. We chose the only good restaurant... the Wheelhouse.

We really liked this place. The staff are great. The rooms and the grounds are very well kept. They go the extra mile and make things just a little bit more special than most places. The breakfast nook is way to small, but the selections of fresh food is awesome. Neat little town.

Room Tip: Just select you breakfast and bring it back to your room with one of the trays they provide.

The Bandon Inn is an excellent choice to stay at in Bandon. Located on a hill overlooking the Old Town area, this quiet Inn offers all the amenities of higher end Inns at a reasonable price. We arrived at around 4pm to check in and we were greeted by a warm friendly staff person who immediately invited us to have some of the freshly baked cookies for patrons that are made evryday. Mmmm.... The inn is but a 5 minute walk down the hill to Old town with nice shops and great reastaurants.

Sixth stop on a 24 day,13 hotel, Pacific Coast Hwy, Nat'l Park Journey. We stayed for 1 night. This was a nice place to spend the night on our coastal trip. While we felt the Inn was not exceptional, it was a clean, well kept, and comfortable, slightly above average property with lovely views. Most of what needs to be said about the Bandon Inn has already been said by other reviewers.

This does not appear to be a green motel as we found no place to recycle.

We had a corner room on the third floor. With baseboard heat, maintaining a comfortable temperature proved challenging. We simply opened the sliding glass door to cool things down when it became too hot. The door itself was extremely heavy, on worn track and rollers, that was difficult to close. It was impossible for my wife to close the door at all.

An elevator would have been handy as we had quite a bit of luggage for our extended trip. Had we known none was available at the time of booking, we would have requested a lower floor.

Though it may have been available, we didn't notice any designated handi-cap parking.

The young lady that checked us in was indifferent, curt and appeared more interested in returning to her group of five friends that were hanging out in the office. She demanded payment in full at check in. We found this unusual and when we asked why, she said it was so we could just leave in the morning without checking out. Yet the following morning, we observed numerous guests checking out that hadn't prepaid. As we had purchased some items in their gift shop, it would have been far more convenient to simply have been able to charge them to the room.

When we were given the key to our room she simply pointed and said "your room's on the end up there". No specific directions were provided until asked and then they were only given with an exasperated sigh. Our experience at check in, in large part, was a factor of only giving an average rating to this property.

Breakfast is very limited in its offerings though enough to get you back on the road. Our bagels had to be toasted in the office. When they were done, they were put back onto a plate without the use of gloves.

Of interest, the ashtrays for outdoor smokers were located adjacent to, or very near the propane tanks used by the Inn. More than one person was overheard commenting about this.

We'd stay again if we were passing through and simply wanted a clean, safe, comfortable hotel for the night. Unless you're staying at the Bandon Dunes Golf Resort, despite the issues noted, you'd be hard pressed to find a nicer property in Bandon. That being said, because of our experience, we wouldn't go out of our way to stay here.
