“Gorgeous course”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 6 January 2012

One of the finest courses on the Oregon coast; scenic views, tough winds can play havoc with your stroke, but well worth it!

“Best course I've ever played”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 29 December 2011

This course is remarkable. Very difficult. Unbelievable scenery. Unique holes. When you stand at the tee box and look down the fairway, you'll be looking at a layout that you've never seen before. Every hole is special. There are no "plain" or "generic" holes. The greens are difficult to read. Plan on many three-putts, or more. Bunkers are severe and penalizing. Stay out of them if at all possible. They will blow up your scorecard.

“Very scenic and playable. Starts tough but opens up nicely. Very scenic.”

Learn how to hit a low ball and be willing to accept the bad breaks cuz you get good ones too. Very driver friendly course but the key is your approach. You have to keep it low and work on putting as that will help or hurt. Great experience - as long as you play the right set of tees :)

“Bandon Dunes means great golf.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 18 October 2010

Four of us played all four courses at Bandon Dunes Golf Resort in late September, 2010. If you love golf you've got to go. The Pacific and Bandon courses are similar, ocean side links golf at it's finest, although the consensus is that Pacific is the better of the two. Trails and Old McDonald are different types of course but both are gems. If you go, play them all. The true links courses are superior to Pebble in my opinion and cost less than half the price until you add the price of the caddy. However, caddies add to the experience and they are essential for green reading and even selecting the line for your tee shots. This is a first class golf facility and, if you love golf, you will not be disappointed.

“fasten your seatbelt”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 27 September 2007

Probably the greatest golf experince on the planet. Not for the weak or feeble. Perhaps the most difficult, yet spectacular golf courses in America. I am a PGA Professional who has worked in all facets of the golf industry for 29 years. Prepare to shoot the highest scores of your life but walk off of every hole smiling. As I told my caddie halfway through my round at Pacific Dunes which is by far the superior course of the three, "That was the most fun I ever had making a 10 on a hole"
