Both my wife and I had a lovely main dish and we shared a bottle of a local Oregon Pinot. She had the Brie, foccacia & green apple slices. I had the chicken wrap (minus the wrap). Both were fresh, tasty, and just exactly what we wanted. A youthful and enthusiastic server provided a great balance between professional service and friendly banter. We are on a long three-day freeway car trip and this stop was a little slice of heaven! Not a fancy or pretentious place, but we would return frequently if we lived nearby.

We were in the Baker City area for 1/2 day and stopped here on the recommendation of a friend who works in town. Lunch was delicious. We each had one of the warm sandwiches and a side of salad. Mine was a pastrami melt with coleslaw. Even though they were out of rye bread, it was still super yum. There was an article last summer in the La Grande Observer newspaper that the owner was planning on building a sister store in La Grande (~ 50 miles north), but I have not heard anything more about it. I think the restaurant would do well in La Grande as I could tell the next table over from us also had people from La Grande! Please open up a similar bar/art gallery in La Grande soon!!

Had a relaxing lunch with my family in this smallish wine bar/art gallery cum restaurant. Our server was affable and very helpful. We started with a humus plate that included goat cheese and an olive 'relish' which were all excellent. Celery and carrots simply sliced as well. All the food was fresh and very flavorful. The "five spice" soup was perfect. Appetizer salads were also very fresh and the dressing choices were ample. Their version of a Reuben was tasty, including cole slaw instead of kraut. The spaghetti and meatball special was very good, the meatballs filled with flavor. Desert was tiramisu, always on their menu and made in house. Very good. The art work on the walls is fun to review during the meal. It was a very pleasant and satisfying dining experience. Highly recommended. Definitely would go back.

This was the 2nd time we've eaten here. Today we had a late breakfast. Mimosa, stash tea, eggs Benedict, breakfast burrito all yummy! Our waitress was attentive and helpful and cheerful.
Tonight we returned to have dessert. Four different desserts were ordered and we each sampled each other's order. The chocolate cake, tiramisu, pumpkin cheesecKe and crime brûlée cheesecake were equally excellent. Good wine list too. We will definitely eat there again.

We did not expect to find a first class wine bar in Baker City, but stumbled on this one as we were driving around down town. Both beer (locally brewed) and wine were available. We got a customized wine flight, based on our likes and dislikes, and enjoyed a large cheese and fruit plate that complemented our wine and beer selections. You are encouraged to take a glass and wander around the space to view local artists' works, from photography to paintings to hand blown glass. We stayed about 2 hours, just enjoying the conversation and the ambiance. We understand that they are thinking of expanding to LaGrande as well.
