You know the old-school kind of bbq place that only makes a certain amount, and once it's gone it's gone? That's how they do it at The Butcher BBQ Stand. If you get there late, you might miss out on your favorite.
In my opinion a bbq joint lives or dies by their sauce, and Butcher's has a great sauce that is a little on the sweeter side. as far as the meats go, we had a little bit of everything, and it was all amazing! Our favorites were the sliced brisket, St Louis style ribs, and my most favorite of all was the burnt ends. (Be aware that if you get the platter that has almost everything on it the burnt ends are what is not included, and they are not to be missed) The sides were excellent! in particular the mac and cheese. The apple-pie beans are good, but a little too sweet for my taste.
The ambience is awesome too! with wooden picnic tables under a tin roof awning.
Nothing fancy, just excellent bbq with a great vibe.
